I really ended up enjoying this book a whole lot more than I had initially thought I would. That ending!!! Just so much is revealed, hinted at and goes on!!

I gave this a 4.5* rating as I really enjoyed it and I think it's the sort of book I didn't think I would enjoy because of the battle focus, but there was always something keeping me interested and I was so happy to sit down today and power through the last half because I feel like it kicks off at 3/4 of the way through with all the magic coming in and the threats and mutiny etc!

I really loved Winter and Marcus and I am so happy they've both agreed to go with Janus. I am looking forward to seeing where he will lead them in the next book and I also found out that there's due to be 5 in the series so that's exciting too :)

Here's my overall review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I think Bobby was my favourite character as I just found her so sweet and friendly and she always backed up Winter and was there for her which I loved.

Also all the twists and turns of the story were just great and I cannot wait to read book 2 and then 3 later this year :)

I would love to hear everyone else's thoughts too when you guys finish!
