Which book(s) have you DNF'd this year so far and why?

I cant believe it took me 13 books to finally DNF one but mine was Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk, I heard this book was disturbing and thats why people didnt finish but I DNF'd because the plot in between the individual short stories were so boring and made reading the book feel like a chore :((

I did finish Haunted, but I gotta admit it was a bit boring sometimes. The only parts that I liked about the main plot were the funny names of the characters, and the overall theme of people wanting to have bad things happen to them because they think that the pain makes them special/worthy of attention. It reminded me of the glorification of mental health issues on social media and in literature sometimes.
