On TBR since I picked up a copy in about 2017-2019 but I read it at university and read it again in about 2005.

4 stars. My ultimate comfort read author. Not my favourite book by her but I had a smile on my face the whole time I was reading it.
On TBR since 15/08/2015.

3 stars. Time travel into the fourteenth century. Slightly annoying heroine who can do everything, but I was intrigued and will carry on the series (one day!)
On Kindle TBR since 05/05/2014 (I think I bought this the day after I got my Kindle!)

3 stars. I liked this a little more than I thought I would. I would have liked the story more if the author didn't turn Laura into a totally unsupportive wife to Massimo and then turn him into an utter psychopath. Nacho would have been a great hero in a different story. (Also, why was nothing else done with the twin?)
On Kindle TBR since I pre-ordered on 26/09/2021 (it came out 09/12/2021).

3 stars. I like reading these books but don't adore them. Slightly less emphasis on homework which was good!
On Kindle TBR since 25/08/2021.

5 stars! Surprise. I am in awe of this beautifully written book. Why did I not read it before?
On TBR since it seems like forever. Somewhere pre-2015 when I moved but I do not remember where I acquired it.

2 stars. Just too shallowly developed. Could be so much better.
On Kindle TBR since 24/08/2021

3 stars. Enjoyable but the plot seemed a little slight. I suspect that I would have enjoyed it more had I read it when it came out.
On Kindle TBR since 09/07/2015 (a pre-order that still took me over 7 years to read).
101. Away in a Manger: A Very Turnip Wedding Night by Lauren Willig.

3 stars. Short and cute.

I have now climbed Mount Everest and am enjoying the view.

4 stars. Cute and fluffy Christmas read.
On Kindle TBR since 30/11/2020.

4 stars. I really enjoyed the earlier chapters but the author moves away from the part of Asia he is supposedly focused on, only to come back to them when dealing with the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
On TBR since approx. February 2017.

4 stars. Very interesting and just gets better the more you read.
On TBR since 25/11/2021.

4 stars. I have finally got around to reading one of my favourite romance author's debut novel (albeit one she has since retouched). I love the general idea of it and I loved the ending. Now reading the second book in the duology.
On Kindle TBR since 06/05/2020.

4 stars. I thought I had already added this...hmm. Really enjoyed this.
On Kindle TBR since 06/05/2020.
107. Christmas with a Latin Lover: The Christmas Eve Bride / A Spanish Christmas / A Christmas in Venice by Lynne Graham, Penny Jordan and Lucy Gordon.

4 stars. First time I have read this in years.
The Lynne Graham story is better than I remembered it as being and I love the scene where the hero finds out about his son Freddy. More particularly, that he is asleep upstairs.
The Penny Jordan story is one that I had completely forgotten. It is good, but not memorable.
The Lucy Gordon story was always my favourite. It is steeped in Venetian society. However, not all the reasons why our heroine left are fully resolved. It is a good festive read though.
On TBR since it came out in 2001. Read before.

3 stars. A classic account of pirates. Does drag in places but I am glad I read it.
On TBR since 25/02/2018.

4 stars. Turned into a rollicking adventure novel. Good fun.
On TBR since 14/11/2017.
That is it for 2022.
