For the purposes of research. Trying to determine the following, (and so far travel websites have not helped)

In Washington D.C.: what is the oldest, most exclusive, fanciest yacht & boat marina?

Websites leap to tell me what are the newest ones, the most modern ones, the highest recommended ones, the ones with the most luxury and tech amenities.

That's not what I want. I want to know where the 'old boys' always docked their yachts.

This is probably mentioned in Charles McCarry's "The Last Supper" but I haven't got a copy.

Can anyone help me out with some insight on this? Thank ye!
