My debut book Meat Pots, Manna, and a Merciful God: Exchanging the Wilderness for Promise was inspired by my own life journey. I did my fair share of wilderness wanderings in the name of 'Good church girl' until the Holy Spirit gave me a wake up call. The last decade has been a joy of learning the treasures contained within the Bible's pages! And I am a particular fan of the stories of the Old Testament that I can now read with joy - and not fear. My heart is that others would be encouraged, challenged, and expanded by the seed of the words contained in this book.
My focus is both directional (our journey from past to future / captivity to freedom) and relational (how we can know God). The book is placed in the spiritual growth and spiritual warfare categories. It grew out of my own battles and learnings but is positioned firmly in God's word. I pray it will bless those who read it.
