Sariah sat in the room silently. She was on her bed. A single bed in her small dorm room. She didn't need anything too big. Just something pretty and nice enough to live in.
Her bed's white skirt was flowing nicely like it always did. The white backboard of her bed was high as always. Beside her to her left was the flowery wallpaper that her roommate had picked out when they moved into the dorm. We'll she'd been living in this dorm and her roommate had needed a place so they began to live together.
Sariah leaned back onto the assortment of pillows behind her. They were comfortable and looked nice. Why did so many girls not have them?
She pushed the pink blankets off her and looked over at her roommate's empty bed. She was probably out in the gardens or something. After all, this girl was obsessed with sunlight and roses.
Sariah got up and pushed herself off the bed. She stretched out, cracking her left and her right shoulders, then walked over to her make-up stand. She looked in her small mirror and sighed. When would a guy notice her? Preferably, her brother's hot friend?
She looked in the mirror and grabbed her hairbrush. She began to run it through her long shiny hair as she waited silently. Was she ever gonna get a call from her brother to hang out with him? They had planned to meet for lunch but, maybe he'd forgotten. After all, it was now around one o'clock in the afternoon.
Sariah slowly curled her hair and placed it up into a bun before grabbing some bobby pins and stopping other little hairs from escaping her grasp and messing up her style. She wasn't a drama queen like a lot of other girls who cared about their looks, she just wanted to look nice.
And smell nice. She had finished putting bobby pins in her hair. Only about 4-5 of them today so this wasn't her worst day. Sariah turned around and looked at her roommates' side of the room. The hair and the make-up area were at the foot of her bed and her roommate had perfume and some other essentials like skincare products. She looked at the three perfume bottles on the table. She had come to an agreement with her roommate that if the bottle was on the table then she was allowed to use it. And her roommate could switch them anytime. The same thing went for Sariah and the make-up products.
Looking at the table, today she had three perfume choices. A tall glass bottle with a clear liquid in it. She looked at the scent name, 'Sugar Water'. She didn't like this one, it was one of her roommates' favorites. She looked at the second one, a short flower-shaped one with a purple liquid. Reading the title she saw, 'Red Rose'. Sariah smiled and picked it up. This one would do.
She took off the cap and sprayed herself with the perfume then closed it and placed it back on the table. She turned and glanced at herself in the mirror once more feeling satisfied. She grabbed her phone off her bed and walked out the door, making sure to close and lock it.

Phoebe was sitting in the dorm looking at the ground. The fair was starting today and everyone was excited about it. Sadly, she wasn't.
She looked up at the sound of the dorm door creaking open and closing then she saw her roommate come in.
"Hi Sariah," she mumbled. She obviously wasn't too happy about this public event. But, she never was happy about any public event.
"Cheer up, Phoebe," Sariah said as the girl placed a bag down on their bed. Sariah had been up early obviously getting ready for the fair and shopping.
"By the way, the fall decorations and make-up were on the shelves today so I got us some," Sariah said as she pulled out a fall-themed eye shadow palette.
"Did you get some perfumes?" Phoebe asked. She was suddenly excited. She loved the smell of the fall perfumes. And some of the Christmas ones at that.
"Of course I did," Sariah said smiling. "Let's see..." Sariah added as she began to pull out perfume bottles. "We have pumpkin spice," Sariah said pulling out a pumpkin-shaped bottle. "There was also a new one called pumpkin latte that sounded pretty good," Sariah said pulling out a sphere-shaped bottle from the bag. Both of the liquids inside were a traditional orange color when it came to fall scents. "The last one is crisp morning air," Sariah said, she pulled out a square-shaped bottle and placed it on the bed.
Phoebe smiled and took the bottles and placed them all on the table at the foot of her bed, which was the right bed, beside all of the other perfumes on it. "They all are going to smell so good on us!" Phoebe said excitedly. Her favorite time of year was fall obviously.
Sariah smiled and she began to place the fall make-up, a few lipsticks, the eyeshadow, and nail polish. Along with a fresh eyeliner pen.
"All set," Sariah said smiling. "Now, do you have an outfit picked out for the fair?"
As always, Phoebe shook her head. "Why would I?" she asked.
"Cause you going to go with me!" Sariah exclaimed.
Phoebe just let out a sigh and nodded. "Guess I need an outfit then," she said.
"We both do! Let's see if we can try some on. And if not, then we can go buy some before we go to the fair!" Sariah said. A smile was spread wide on her face as she tossed away the bag she'd used to carry her purchases and made her way to the wardrobe.

Sariah sat on her bed waiting for Phoebe. The girl loves picking outfits but, she never had good ones for events. Neither really felt like clothes shopping today though. She was wearing a cute orange crop top and white ripped jean pants. There were white sneakers and she had a white jacket. She had some orange flowers in her hair to keep it out of her face.
Sariah had also done her make-up. She tried the orange eye shadow and decided to keep it. She also used some blush and lipstick to touch up a few things. She would wait on Phoebe to do the perfume.
Almost right on cue, Phoebe walked in.
"How does this look on me?" Phoebe asked Sariah. She was wearing an orange dress that went down to her knees. There was a brown belt around the dress at her waist for aesthetics. She wore orange sneakers and she also had a cute hat on.
"You look perfect!" Sariah replied smiling. "Let's touch up your make-up!"
"I don't want to do make-up," Phoebe said shaking her head.
"Fine, but your no fun."
"Perfume?" Phoebe asked walking over to the table.
"Can I try the pumpkin spice one?" Sariah asked.
"Sure, I'll try the crisp morning air," Phoebe said. She handed the pumpkin-shaped bottle to Sariah then took the rectangular bottle and sprayed herself. It definitely smelled good.
Sariah got up and sprayed herself with the pumpkin spice then, the two girls smiled and Phoebe grabbed a purse.
"I can take our phones," Phoebe said smiling. Sariah nodded and handed hers over. The photos in the back of her clear phone case were easy to notice. One of her brother, one of Phoebe, and one of her crush.
"Let's go!" Sariah said once Phoebe had put the phones in the tiny purse. And, the two walked out the door to go to the fair.
