If I started a book in September but finished it in October does that still count?

When you complete, say, prompt two or prompt 3, do you get the number of points that the number the prompt is? Like, 3 points for prompt 3? Or 2 points for prompt 2? Or is it one point for everything?

I believe it's just one point for each (1 point for prompt 1, 1 point for prompt 2, 1 point for prompt 3).

One book can only be logged for one prompt

Yes, anything with 700 pages or more is 7 points

Yes. First time reads get 2 bonus points. There is no deduction for rereads.

I'm kind of confused because there are only three prompts and we have five members and I don't know what to do in this situation. Also, someone on the team wants to do two prompts and there are only three prompts this round so I am wondering how this is going to work out?

I don't think we anticipated this many people signing up tbh Normally our challenges have slightly less people. As for the prompt thing, ebooks, audiobooks, and physical books are all accepted for this challenge. The books chosen don't have to be long. Each round has only about three prompts. If you'd like, I could potentially transfer you onto another team of 2-4 members? However, for that I'd have to consult the other mods to make sure that's actually an option. Would you like me to check?

Hi, I have not heard anything from my new teammate yet and I'm not sure what to do in this situation. I have welcomed them and asked what prompt they want to do and I also want to know what book they plan on reading so we are not doing the same book. I still have not heard from them. Do you have any ideas what I should do in this situation?

I will send Sophie a PM, see what happens. Sometimes members sign up and don't really participate. Or they sign up and forget about it. So I will message and see what is happening 🙂

I'd like to correct a mistake I made. There are 10 chapters still. But chapters 1-8 have 3 and chapter 10 has 3 prompts as well. Chapter 9 does not have 3 prompts

Can we read plays for the challenge if they count as a prompt?

Yep! All types of books count 🙂 Novels, poetry, plays, graphic novels, manga, etc.
