Play Book Tag discussion

A must read for fans of vampire stories. It really brings home the melancholy, despair, and monotony of eternal life. Exhilarating at times, sad, and often violent. I love the narrative device of the vampire telling his story to a journalist because it feels like he is speaking to you.

Not terribly spooky or scary if you are a lightweight for that, but more a meditation on mortality and the torture of living forever.
