I'll just talk about my favourite moment in the whole chapter - Whiskeyjack and Rake!

During which we were given the back-story of our favourite Bridgeburners from Whiskeyjack's POV. As much as we were given some clues about Quick Ben, I believe that there is still a lot more to him than Whiskeyjack knows about. A 'middling' wizard indeed *recalls Shadowthrone's reaction in recognition of Quick Ben* Kalam and Quick Ben really go back a long way don't they? That is a backstory I will love to read about.

Have I mentioned how much I love Rake's character? Well I'll say it again. I love Rake!! This dude is so deep. When he first mentioned Paran, I tensed up but then relaxed and was pleased when he admitted that he 'liked' Paran. Although I am not sure how he will feel if he found out how Paran was able to "infiltrate" Dragnipur and freed the Hounds. And Whiskeyjack gaining a friend in Rake - I really look forward to how their relationship develops. "One can find precious value in brevity" *SOB*

I love reading about the Bridgeburners as they are all fun and unique characters, down to the last soldier.

Quick Ben is awesome and finding Talamandas gives me hope that we may find another fun insane character that Hairlock was.
