i saw the information on the internet that "verity" is recommended for readers 18+ but in my opinion these ratings are often exaggerated, for example "it ends with us" being 17+. Do you think I, as a 16 year old being a little sensitive to graphical description of gory scenes, could read this book? What's the correct age rating of "verity" in your opinion?

i think if you're mature enough and the trigger warnings won't bother you, i would say at least 15-16+ in my opinion. i'm a freshman and i read the book, sure it was disturbing but i didn't think i was too young to read it
im 13 and ive read the book, i'm into that sort of book though
16+ since it deal with adult content and triggering things younger people may not be able to handle or parents may have an issue with it
im 13 (middle school) and i've read the book. I've also read things like 'The Girl on the Train' and 'Icebreaker' though. It really just depends how mature you are!
