alan reines | 5 comments Hi Everyone, I go by Comingstorm on Goodreads. Quick aside, my favorite author is Bobby Akart. Every theme he picks is both educational and thrilling. Anyway, my challenge is helping me find a book I read a few (or many?) years ago have wanted to read again but of course having an old and lonely memory isn't helping, which is why I need your help. What I can remember isn't much but here goes. A married couple, who lives on the East Coast, each buys a lottery ticket and both win. Later they find an old complete movie set which is really a small town, and they name it "haven or the haven". They begin inviting people they trust to join them and that's about what I can remember other than the book was riviting and I have not been able to relocate it since. Wish I could remember more to help you all out. One of the characters was a women who works in Washington and I think the other was a high ranking military officer who she saves from a mob and unknown to each other both are heading to Haven. Wish there was more I could remember, but that's it. If anyone can supply the author and title would be wonderful. Any help or answers you can provide will be GREATLY appreciated.
P.S. Thrillers are one category I read but my main categories are Pre & Post apocalyiptic action fiction cause you never know whats around the corner. Good luck and thank you again!

alan reines | 5 comments I FOUND THE BOOK! For those of you who were nice enough to reply thank you. After literally hours on the phone with Amazon (good try on their part but no help) and continuing my search I found it. It wasn't a stand alone book but a series by my favorite author Bobby Akart. For those who have never read him, can't recommend him enough. I started with his first series-Boston Brahmin-which is a nine book series. To me, he is one of those "couldn't put it down! writers. Be forewarned, he has 10 series that I know of. I am in the middle of his latest-Perfect Storm. I started with ones I could get a description of and began by reading the first two pages to see if any rang a bell. Hit his "Doomsday" series and the bells went off! I knew instantly this was it! So thats it. I'm going to reread the entire series which started on Amazon in 2019!

P.S. HAVEN'T BEEN THAT FAR OUT OF THE USA BUT THANKS TO BOOKS I HAVE BEEN ALL OVER THE WORLD.
ALSO, TRY AN OUTFIT CALLED "BOOKBUD"(bookbud.com). YOU GET DAILY EMAILS OF AMAZON BOOKS IN EVERY CATEGORY AT SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS AND EVEN FREE!

THANKS EVERYONE AND GOOD READING.
