In 2011, I set out to write a series that would bring readers back to a time period where chivalry and clean romance still existed!
The Legacy of the Key is a fantasy novel where Reece Bryant, a college student on Earth, finds that she is being guarded by two men due to her importance of who she really is.
Once taken into a whimsical dimension where the nature of this dimension known as Pemdas has nature that is not only vivid in color but at night the lands begin to glow in a magical way.
As Reece slowly accepts who she is and that all dimensions exists, she finds herself falling in love with her personal guardian and the emperor's son, Levi Oxley.
Reece is captivated by his gentleman-like nature and his "old fashioned" manners with how he respects her. She also finds herself not wanting to leave this realm and return to Earth. So taken with the lifestyles of the Pemdai people and the fact that their culture reminds her of Earth's victorian era, she dreads returning to Earth and the fast paced life there.
But Pemdas is not as perfect as she believes, and soon she finds that the ones who do not approve of her living in their world have put her life in grave danger.
The Guardians must face their greatest enemy and also restore their trust with all worlds.
