me personally, i didn't really enjoy this book. a lot of people over-hyped this book.

tiktok really did the most with it and now they have a prequel to it and i haven't read it, but i did order it. even though the first one was pretty shitty to me, I will always read the next book that follows along with it.

anyways, let me know your thoughts down below.

hi! i picked this book up after so many people recommended it to me. in all honesty, i thought it was good, but not quite as great as people were making it out to be. it was enough to make me buy the prequel, but that's about it. there was barely any romance, but that's to be expected - they've only got around 24 hours to live. definitely over-hyped, though i feel that some lines were annotation-worth. :)

Hey! Yeah I agree; it was a bit over hyped, and I found it slow at times, but I did still really enjoy it. I have also bought the prequel :) I really liked how it was set from different perspectives and everything connects

I think that it was slightly over hyped but overall pretty good. I did enjoy it but I feel like I liked it less because of all the hype. It was slightly slow at spots and the romance needed slightly more buildup instead of about 50-70 pages of almost nothing, just a few glances and touches. Again, worth the read but doesn't live completely up to the hype.

I've heard from several people that this book is boring. Maybe im crazy or i just loved the characters... Quite a chill book (that also keeps in suspense), maybe it doesnt have much plot or twists, but it was good in my opinion (Rufus and Mateo deserved better)

I loved this book! The ending killed me I cried when Mateo died. I got so attached to the book and when I first started the book I was like 'oh they're probably gonna survive somehow and break the system and be wanted by the government blah blah blah'. But they didn't deserve it. But then again they probably never would've met each other and Mateo would be stuck in his house all day and Rufus would have killed Peck (Peck would've deserved it though).

I really enjoyed this book . The idea of this book was really new and different and it needed a creative author such as Mr.Silvera .
