ooo great book. i read this when i was very young - maybe middle school age. i found it in my mom's collection of books from college. think i also watched an old movie based on it.

it made me sensitive to the many injustices found in most so called justices systems in the world.

i to this day support charities and legislation that fights against unfair incarceration/sentencing/ prison conditions.
