When, if ever, did you deduce that Slatcher was one of the Orphans? Did you ever suspect that Candy was one, too?

When it became clear that Evan was the target, I started wondering if Slatcher was one of the orphans. It makes sense to send someone with the same training to take out an assassin.

Pretty early on -when they were in contact with someone behind the scenes that was calling all the shots. Then add in the contacts and odd way of getting in contact with 'the boss'

When Evan began seeing him as an equal, I thought then he might be one of the Orphans. I never suspected Candy.

I agree. I suspected that Slatcher was an orphan because his skills match Evan to closely. I wondered about Candy, then I thought she was recruited by Slatcher. Maybe she wasn't an orphan, but I couldn't make up my mind. I went back and forth on all these characters.
