I had never heard of this series before it was picked. I kind of hoped that I didn't like the first book and would drop the group read because I didn't need another series to read. LOL Unfortunately, I loved the audiobook and plan to continue reading with the group. It was an action-packed story that didn't really slow down. I'm looking forward to reading more.

I loved the book enough to do a re-listen for the group read. There was no way I would've remembered everything from the first book. I'd only made it through book 2 when this group read was picked so I stopped continuing the series.

Melissa, I’m glad you decided to pause and join us! This is a series I could reread because the pace and action is breathtaking. And, I could go back and get those clues I missed.

Robin, I started collecting this series years ago when the first book was released but could never get to it. I’ve wanted to read it with a group so I waited.

I could definitely see me re reading these again as well. So much going on and I agree - definitely could pick up on things missed first time around.

Well, I'm in for the group series. The TBR piles are growing higher and higher :)

I'm in. I love stories with a lot of action, mystery, and underground networks of good and evil. I will continue.
