Hello Cat! I just wanted to let you know that this will be out discussion thread for Verity!!! I do want to start off by saying I talked to my niece this weekend and she has read it, and she said the ending will have you say "what the hell did I just read.." So she said it's a good book though!

Chapter 1- Lowen is on her way to her meeting. Has she is standing in the crowd of people, she has just witnessed a man getting hit by a truck. Blood is all over her shirt when the truck tire runs over the mans head. It's not her blood... it's a stranger's blood and she has no other shirt with her to change into before her meeting. Now that she is witness to the whole scene, she should probably speak to the cops and let them know what she saw since she also was covered in blood. Well while she is standing on the sidewalk waiting to walk a complete stranger walks up to her and is asking if she is okay. The truck driver doesn't seem to care that he just ran over someone head with his tires. But in the city of Manhattan, crazy things like this happen all the time. Lowen's mother just passed away last week from cancer and this is the very first time she has been out of her apartment besides taking care of her mom. But this stranger's name is Jeremy. He walks her into the coffee shops bathroom so she can clean her shirt and wipe the little blood off her body as well. So when she is in the bathroom with Jeremy she has to remove her shirt so she can rinse the blood out of it.... She has not shirt to wear to the meeting so Jeremy takes his shirt off and lets her wear it to her meeting.... This shirt look absolutely ridiculous but she has no option. How is this meeting going to go.

Not going to lie... just by the first chapter has me interested.... but for sure standing in your bra alone in the bathroom with a complete stranger...... hell to the no..... I would have walked into a shop and bought myself a new shirt. Especially without knowing Jeremy's intentions... and then after Lowen realizing he is married..... ummmmmm his wife is going to be pissed when she finds out.

Chapter 2- Lowen has received a text message from Corey saying that she might have a job offer for her. Lowen is already behind in her bills and rent since she had to use her money to take care of her mom. Lowen and her mom didn't get along very well because now that he mom is passed, Lowen is left with all her mom debts since she can't pay those. Corey and Lowen used to be in a relationship together but now it's more like since Corey didn't think Lowen's personality was what he thought it was, they have had sex together and now they are just suppose to be friends and acquittances. Jeremy follows Lowen to this meeting because it just so happens to happen that they are both going to the same thing. Lowen has offered a job which is to finish up the next 3 books of Jeremy's wife series.... Lowen is not comfortable taking the position because whatever she makes and taxes... Corey gets 15% of what she makes.... Jeremy's attorney sits down and they sign a non disclosure agreement saying that the books series will get finished in a matter of 6 months and they need to find someone quick. Lowen has until tomorrow to decide but as she is leaving the room, the first day she has been out of her apartment has just been a complete mess. Jeremy will not stop making offers to Lowen because he really wants her to finish the series, but Lowen also has her own books to write. If she doesn't find a job soon that will pay her rent, and bills she is going to get evicted. Jeremy was offered half a million dollars to Lowen if she finishes the series. Jeremy lives in Vermont and he has offered her to come look at notes and stuff and stay at his house so she can finish.. Corey is not happy when they have a one on one conversation together but will Corey reconsider when Lowen tells him the news?

Chapter 3- Lowen used to be in a relationship with a guy named Amos. He wasn't the normal type of man.... in his sexual relationships he thought it was a turn on to be choked and when Lowen wasn't into that type of stuff they broke up. Corey comes over to Lowen's apartment because they are drinking champagne to celebrate the contract they just signed this morning. Corey and Lowen used to be in a relationship and Corey was feeling like he was going to have sex with Lowen but she doesn't have time for this and she is not excited because she is taking over someone else's book series and she is only taking this position because of the money. Corey sees the eviction notice and she has 2 days to pack her stuff and figure out where she is going to go. Corey is not happy when Lowen says that she will be staying and leaving for Vermont on Sunday so she can get started on this book series.... and also she will be staying in Jeremy's house. With the way his wife died, and their daughters Corey finds it extremely creepy and doesn't want anything to happen to Lowen. Lowen doesn't know this family hardly at all but she is staying at their home.... Corey cant stop her but he is going to look out for her because he is not a fond of this happening. She can get a hotel and stay there but she is not doing that. Jeremy's wife hit a tree and got in a wreck, their first daughter drowned in the lake behind their house, and the other daughter had a allergic reaction to something and they weren't home.

Chapter 4- Lowen is driving in her rental car on the way to the Crawford's house. She has done her research on maps, and done her research on the family to make sure if she stays at the house she won't be putting herself in danger. So while she is driving, she listens to one of Verity's books. Verity is a VERY famous author and her books are very popular so Lowen doesn't think she will be able to live up Verity's train of thoughts as she finishes this series. She regrets signing this contract. Lowen is scared she is going to fail miserably in this process and since she is working with Corey she doesn't want to fail him either. For the next few weeks, Lowen is going to be living out of her suitcase until she hears back on the apartment that she just put a deposit on. Her mom just passed away, and now Lowen just got accepted for this job opportunity which she should be very impressed with because most people would love to have this opportunity. Lowen is pulling up to the Crawford's drive way and this is not what she expected at all. She has seen pictures and now she is second guessing if she should stay at the house or rent a hotel. She parks the car in the garage and she sees a little boy walk out and that must be the daughters little 5 year old brother named Crew. Lowen is very creeped out and Jeremy opens the door and lets her in when she finds out that the house is a little creepy as well. So Jeremy takes Lowen upstairs so she can meet Verity and her nurse is helping her while Verity is laying in her bed. Crew is suppose to be getting a shower and ready for bed, but Jeremy has to take care of him and he was not kidding when he said she has tons of notes and thoughts jotted down. Boxes full of notes that she will have to go through and find out what pieces of information she will need to write the rest of this series. All Verity's books are on the shelf and as Lowen begins reading them.... she is scared she is not going to have this creativity but Verity's books are very creepy. Jeremy has left her with Verity's password on the desk top as well. So now it's going to take Lowen some time to go through this stuff.... Jeremy says she can stay as long as she needs.

Verity's Book Chapter 1- Verity and Jeremy met at a charity event. So Verity was attracted to Jeremy since the first time she saw him at the charity event. He was handsome and Verity knew that she was going to try and make him jealous by wearing a dress that caught his attention. And she did, the whole night at the charity event she was drinking and was waiting for him to make the first move when she already had 3 drinks and Jeremy told her that she needed to slow down because Jeremy wanted to take Verity home that night. Jeremy is not rich by any means but when he takes her into a limousine parked in the front of the event... she thinks that he is rich and the whole time she is making him hard and they don't realize that someone is comining into the limo until the lights come on and so they were sitting in the back of a limo that didn't belong to them... so they run to Jeremy's car and he takes her home that night and they end up having sex multiple times throughout the night. This is not just a one night stand and it turned out that they spent more time with each other than they would have liked. They hardly know each other but they are both attractive. Jeremy lives in an apartment in Brooklyn.

Chapter 5- Lowen is suppose to be focusing on gathering notes and pieces of information so she can finish the series. Well she got side tracked and she ended up reading Verity's first chapter of one of her books.... Lowen really wants to talk to Verity and see if she has any expectations that she wants for the series but she can't. Jeremy can't answer any of these questions because he hasn't read any of her thoughts. It's now 11pm and she decides that she is going to get some food and then continue in the office. But right when Lowen walks out she hears a noise that she is not so fond of.... she thinks that Jeremy is in Verity's room and they are having sex because she hears the bed moving... But Verity's hospital bed moves so she is comfortable in many different positions and not just sitting in one position. So Lowen takes a break and has a plate of pizza when she sees Jeremy eating at the table with her. She is very nervous and now that she knows answers after reading the first chapter... she wants to know if Jeremy will be honest on how they met and what happened to their children. What's even more creepy is both Lowen and Jeremy are both night owls so they tend to stay up later and Lowen finds Jeremy more and more attractive as they are having a conversation but she knows that her mind can't be in that position. She is here to focus on a task and finish that task. So before she goes to bed, she takes a shower and she does things to get herself prepped for bed. But Jeremy was not kidding when he said she has tons of stuff to go through.

Verity's Book Chapter 2- Verity and Jeremy's relationship was very strong. Verity depended on Jeremy for a lot of things. Jeremy and Verity hardly disagreed on things and everything was so much better when they were together! But things changed when Jeremy got moved to Los Angeles for his job. Verity and Jeremy moved in together and started living together and that's when Verity became an an author when Jeremy was moved temporarily for his job. She wrote about their relationship and when you read it... it reminds you about Fifty Shades of Grey. Very in depth details of how Jeremy had put a ring on Verity's hand. Verity had her own apartment before they moved in and wince they were spending 6 months together non stop that's when those decisions starting happening. Well Verity was very nervous to start writing because she didn't know how famous she was going to be and she was even nervous for Jeremy to read those chapters. But the day Jeremy returned home is when they had got engaged and was Jeremy's first time reading Verity's content as an author. Jeremy was very impressed and thought her writing was amazing. Which led to more sexual content but Verity didn't want Jeremy to read that at all....

Chapter 6- Lowen is sitting in Verity's office and she loves the fofice because the windows overlook the whole backyard. So you can always look outside if you need a break. Well Lowen is trying to go through all these notes and stuff and she hasn't gotten very far because she is trying to read Verity's books so she can get a feel of all the characters in the books and see the plot of the book and how she can finish out this book series. April (Verity's nurse) is sitting on the porch with Verity since it's a nice day out. But as Lowen is inside... Verity is like a egg- shell is cracked but no yolk. so it's very creepy and Lowen thinks that Verity is like a ghost and she keeps seeing things but is she really just seeing things or is this creepy stuff happening? This is the way Jeremy lives his life... her body can't speak and she can't walk since the car accident. Lowen is working and she ends up getting a phone call from the apartment complex saying that since she has a eviction on her record she didn't get approved for that apartment. So now she is already moved out of the other apartment and she is begging them that when she gets the money from her mom passing, that she will put money down so she can stay ahead of her payments... The apartment guy said the will email her with the final results of their decision but she needs to find something as soon as possible. Ever since Lowen's mom died Lowen has been getting nothing but bad news and she is trying to better her life, but it takes time. Jeremy has told Lowen several times that she is allowed to stay in the house for as long as she needs. She needs to take the time she has to gather information because she needs to finish the book series. But Jeremy and Crew are outside tearing the dock up when Lowen gets side tracked because Jeremy has taken off his shirt. She likes what she sees but she is not here to find love and to fall into Jeremy's trap.... But what's even worse is when Crew waves at his mom thinking he sees his mom in the window but Lowen thinks Crew is waving at her.... April says Verity is already in bed with her television on.... So now Lowen is confused and freaking out because she is trying to figure out what is going on. So Lowen walks up to Verity's room to check on her and when she walks in there... the television is off, the fan is blowing air around the room and that's why the curtains were moving right... but Verity is not under the covers, she is laying on top of the covers but her eyes are closed.... So Lowen walks back downstairs and she is now inside the office again working on gathering some notes.

Verity's Book Chapter 3- Verity was very much attracted to the way her body looked. She always worked out and made sure she looked good. But there came a time when Verity started craving certain foods and that's when she knew that she was pregnant. Growing a baby inside you is a wonderful thing and Verity knew that she was showing faster than usual and Jeremy was showing Verity more love and affection as time went on throughout the pregnancy. Verity ended up being jealous because in her mind she thought that Jeremy was only giving her affection because of the babies... but why be jealous and try every way to kill the babies just to see how your husband will react if you weren't pregnant? Jeremy was very excited throughout the whole pregnancy and loved the babies even though they weren't born. But when Jeremy wasn't around, Verity would drink wine, take sleeping pills, and try and force her body to have a miscarriage. Verity wanted to end the pregnancy because when they found out that she was pregnant with 2 and not 1... she was nervous about being a mother. During the pregnancy Jeremy was always helping Verity while she was either puking or needed help with certain things. the more damage done to Verity's body she felt very insecure and didn't want her body ruined so while they were in the process of having sex, Jeremy was scared because he swore that while they were having sex, he could feel the babies moving around. So they stopped having sex to see what the issue was and Verity locked herself in the bathroom and purposely was trying to grab a hanger and abort the babies. She didin't care about carrying Jeremy's children.... she was more jealous having the babies than she was of being a mom. She wanted to be on the top list of Jeremy's love... She will do whatever it takes to get there.... so now what.... is she still pregnant and will Jeremy find out that she is purposely trying to kill the children while she is pregnant?

Chapter 7- Lowen has been in the office all day trying to gather pieces of information and reading Verity's book. Lowen is very shocked and she is terrified that Verity would do such a horrible thing to their twin daughters Chastin and Harper. Lowen tries not to shed tears but instead she takes a break and grabs something to eat and talks all this out with Jeremy. Has some alcohol and Jeremy had made dinner so she is going to eat what was made for dinner. Jeremy sits down with tons of paper in front of him as he is trying to also get Crew down for bed. Verity's writing has now made Lowen scared, and to be honest Lowen doesn't know if she wants to read anymore of this book. Lowen walks out in the kitchen and Jeremy can tell that something has stirred Lowen up. She is extremely nervous to explain why she feels this way..... But Verity and Lowen write the same genre of books so Jeremy seeing Lowen react like this seems very strange to him. So ever since Verity car accident the doctor has confirmed that Verity will probably not get any better. Yes she is a grown woman but her mind is now back to a newborn stage... She won't walk again, or talk again but maybe therapy will help but they aren't 100% positive it will help Verity. But Lowen is looking at family pictures in the hallway and she is very confused and is investigating because both of the twins have scars and she wants to know the truth if those scars were because of Verity purposely getting the abortion and doing that to her own kids. Lowen knows that they would have all been one happy family if Verity wouldn't have been so jealous of her own kids. So now once she has finished eating her meal, she decides that she is going to take a relaxing shower when she realizes that Jeremy is hard core staring at her and that's her cue to leave and get herself showered. But since when did she get a lock on her bedroom door..... and why and how long has that lock been there? So as we know Lowen sleep walks at times and in her therapy Lowen has to set hard obstacles for herself and all the sudden her wrist is broken and she is bleeding really bad....

Chapter 8- Lowen has kind of taken a break from reading Verity's books so she can focus on getting more notes and information she needs to finish the book series. She needs to stop getting sidetracked and focus on doing what she came her for in the first place. Every since she has stopped reading.... Lowen's feelings have been a little more calm and she is starting to gather her thoughts on what she thinks might be perfect to pick back up on the series. As Lowen sees that there is a different nurse here on the weekends for Verity... this nurse seems a little less tense because Lowen feels like April knows that Lowen and Jeremy are starting to catch feelings for each other. Lowen is suppose to be moving into her apartment today but she isn't. But Lowen is looking for one or two more pieces of information that just might fit the notes she will be taking with her. As she is going through boxes, she gets an email saying that the Press just released an announcement that Laura Chase will be finishing over the book series of Verity's! But since she is not using her real name everything is fine and dandy till they get stopped in the store by 2 people who know Verity and are friends with her. Lowen needed to grab some more tampons and a few things since she didn't quite want Jeremy picking up things for her but now.... he has just paid for her things and now Lowen is starting to think that Jeremy will always love his wife who is injured but do they both have the same feelings for each other? But Lowen reads the email and reads the comments and those are already some pretty nasty comments..... and now she is just caught in the store with Jeremy and these 2 women Patricia and Caroline.... They think Jeremy is having sex with her and these two women are HUGE on gossip so now what will happen?

I know her nasty hatred is pissing me the fuck off and now what is going to happen if word gets out that Jeremy has been seen in a store with another woman.... I am not going to think straight if I feel like Jeremy and Lowen have feelings for each other in this book.... and with Verity's jealousy.... oh lord makes my stomach turn just thinking about it.

Chapter 9- Lowen had been living in that house for 5 days now. Verity is running a fever so the nurse kept her upstairs so no one else would get a fever from Verity. Jeremy is sitting on the back porch just staring out into the fishing dock and Lowen keeps staring out the window at Jeremy when she is suppose to be working in the office. Lowen thinks that something is running through his mind since he has been sitting there for a while now. So everytime Jeremy looks at Lowen she gets this feeling in her body and it makes her nuts... Like are Jeremy and Lowen catching feelings for each other? So Lowen decides that in order for her to focus on her task she is going to take a couple Xanax pills so she can stop losing focus. As she is in her room, she hears a scream from Crew and it's coming from Verity's bedroom. Lowen immediately drops her things and runs upstairs to see what happened and when she walks into Verity's room, Lowen swore that Crew was sitting on the floor with a knife next to him. Crew has a cut underneath his chin and he is bleeding really bad. So Lowen helps Crew wipe all the blood off and clean the chin area and right as Lowen is helping Crew, Jeremy runs up the stairs because he hears Crews scream as well. Jeremy is shocked and asks what happened... Lowen is honest and tells him exactly what she saw when she walked in but as Jeremy is bandaging up Crew's chin... Lowen walks back into Verity's room and absolutely no where is the knife. So Jeremy walks in to see if he can investigate and now Crew is playing on his Ipad in the room with Verity once again.... Lowen has returned to the office and she is worried about Crew being in the same room as Verity. Long story short... Verity is a villain... she writes from a villains perspective. and Lowen has read and seen that from all her books.... So she knows exactly what she needs to do now. But Jeremy thanked Lowen and now she is second guessing sleeping in the house because of what happened to Crew. The day is almost over and Crew sleeps upstairs in his room but Lowen sleeps downstairs in the master bedroom..... Nothing will happen right?

Verity's Book Chapter 4- Verity ended up having a c section with Chastin and Harper (the twins). When Verity was pregnant with the twins, she tried every way to have a miscarriage because she wants to be the center of attention. She doesn't like it when Jeremy gives the kids all of the attention. Like let's be real right now that's not a mother at all.. So Jeremy had noticed the scar on one of the twins face and Verity sat there the whole time not mentioning that it was from when she tried taking a metal hangar and killing the twins in the womb. Jeremy has no clue Verity did this. But the doctors and nurses have promised that the twins are healthy and nothing is wrong with the babies. The twins have only been born for a couple hours and Jeremy is just in love with his girls and Verity is pissed off because she is not getting attention the way she wants. She doesn't want Jeremy to give the babies attention. So Chastin in the twin with the scar... Verity is holding her and she tries to breastfeed but Verity makes the excuse that she doesn't want to breastfeed AT ALL because there is 2 kids instead of 1. She would rather them be formula fed. Verity will never be a part of the bonding between the girls and Jeremy and Verity doesn't like that. Jeremy is upset with her because she hasn't even tried being a mother to the girls and the fact that she can't even breastfeed makes Jeremy think he will pretty much be raising these girls all by himself...... Verity for sure needs to grow up and be a mother.

Verity needs to go to a psych ward like ASAP

I can't handle the suspense omg

@cat the suspense of this book is waaaayyy taken to a different level of wilting. Verity and the things she does piss me off. She has a wonderful, loving, and caring husband and she doesn’t shit a rats butthole about anyone but herself. Her jealousy is sickening and if she didn’t want to be another maybe she should have thought about that…. But abusing her children is not okay at all….

Chapter 10- Lowen is back in the desk and sorting through things when she runs into a box inside the closet full of family photos. They have pictures of the twins in them and everyone in the family is still grieving over the loss of them but Lowen wanted to see what they looked like. Lowen knows that when she finds a man that she will someday want kids but she can't bring her mind to admit that she wants to find a wonderful man like Jeremy. Lowen is not snooping through this family's business and she is hear to gather whatever information she will need to finish this book series. Jeremy knows the box she is going through as soon as she brings the box to the table. He is going through the box and showing his favorite pictures of the twins and Jeremy was mad at Verity. Lowen is trying to get a feel of Verity's writing so for her to go through this stuff helps her figure out what she needs to do. Lowen had googled attempts of abortions and she is starting to wonder..... something.... Harper rarely ever smiled in pictures and she was born with it. You could tell in the photos that Verity was never happy being a mother to these kids. It breaks Lowen's heart to understand that this is all so true and it hurts to see these kids suffer. But Lowen gathers pictures she will use for information and while Jeremy and Lowen are outside talking together... Jeremy is having a hard time after looking through photos and now Crew has ran outside because he saw all the photos on the table and not only is he upset now but he just saw Jeremy and Lowen hugging on each other and Crew's father kissing another woman almost. Crew was not suppose to see this and now if he says anything to April she will have a fit with Lowen staying at the house now since they have feelings for each other. Chastin was very protective of her sister Harper. and Jeremy could tell that whenever Harper needed something he was always there for her helping her with whatever she needed and being the best father he could to his kids. Harper was a very special twin and Jeremy misses his girls more than anything...

Chapter 11- Lowen is inside working in the office when she looks out the window and sees Jeremy working on the dock and Crew playing out in the sand. Lowen has been feeling like there is something in the house that is haunting in the night and she can't seem to get a grip on herself if things are happening of if it's just in her head. Lowen had woken up last night to use the restroom and she could have sworn that she heard footsteps as someone was walking up the stairs.... Every step was creaking and she just had a hard time sleeping. So Verity and April are in the kitchen and April is feeding Verity and this is Lowen's first time talking to Verity and April since she has been at the house. April is not trying to be rude but as she pulls Lowen aside... April feels like Lowen was offensive but all Lowen was trying to do was get to know Verity and April a little more. But April ends up explaining to Lowen that you have to be careful with what you say around Verity. Lowen is seeing Verity for the first time while she is eating and she literally looks like a damn robot. Verity has to eat small foods that are easy to digest. April has been working with Verity for the past 4 weeks now. So right as April and Lowen are speaking... Crew runs inside and is showing his mom that he had found a turtle out in the sand and he is trying to get his mom to look at the turtle but she doesn't move and she doesn't even say anything to him. Lowen feels really bad for Crew and all she can do is try and take Crew in like her son and bond with him. So Lowen goes outside with Crew and they sit in the yard trying to see fi the turtle will move or not.... Crew used to have a pet turtle but it died. So while Jeremy is still working on the dock... Jeremy walks over and sees Lowen interacting with Crew. But Jeremy promised his son that they would be going out to eat tonight for dinner. Before everything went down... the family liked to go out to eat alot. Nothing wrong with that... So Jeremy invites Lowen to go with them and Lowen feels like she has just been asked out on a date with Jeremy. Jeremy has NEVER interacted or stepped foot in Verity's room at all since Lowen has been there.... Lowen thinks about if Jeremy still loves Verity or if he is done with a robotic wife... But as they are cracking jokes at dinner... Jeremy is watching the way she tries to crack jokes and she isn't good at jokes but sure enough the time they are spending together is what matters. So when they get back Jeremy wants to kiss Lowen so bad but Crew is watching and he doesn't want to upset his son..... Jeremy has feeling for Lowen and Lowen has feelings for Jeremy. They are trying to keep it quiet but that's not working out very well.... Lowen shouldn't be wanting a relationship with a married man but here she is losing her focus on what she is needing to be done.

I'm about ready to start reading chapter 12! I'm so excited!

Oh gosh….. I’m on chapter 11 so I will catch up with you.

Verity's Book Chapter 5- So pretty much Verity is explaining that Jeremy was a real estate agent when the twins were born. he had taken 2 weeks off to help Verity with the girls so that way she could rest up and take care of herself. Well Verity totally changed her schedule once Jeremy had returned back to work. During the day and while he was at work, she would sleep and but the babies in the crib and have them sleep during the day and then set an alarm and cook dinner, give the babies baths, and act like she had been taking care of the children all day. Verity thinks Jeremy wont' know the difference and it's just Verity's excuse because she doesn't want to take care of the kids by herself. Well Its now been 4 weeks since the twins have been born and Verity has not had sex since then.... She has not been cleared from a doctor yet so when they go to bed, Verity tries to play with Jeremy while hes sleeping so that way he will give in and give her what she wants.... Verity doesn't care that she just had a c section and she obviously doesn't understand that that can still be dangerous unless you are cleared by a medical professional. But as long as she gets what she wants thats all that matters right?

Chapter 12- Lowen is officially shook up by how Verity was a mother and how she handled to take care of her children. Lowen thinks Verity is the EXACT definition of a psychopath because she has every definition but Verity will NOT move on from Jeremy. Verity's main focus it seems like is Jeremy. Right as she is working in the office, jeremy interupts her and asks if she can help him grab something from the basement which is the only part of the house that Lowen has not seen yet. Well as Lowen helps Jeremy find the aquarium so that Crew can keep the turtle he found out in the sand. Just by the looks of the basement.. the basement hasnt been touched or no one has been caring for it. But Lowen just now found out that Jeremy used to own his own Realty Firm and whats worse is when they were all a family, that's really the only way he could bring in money. Verity writing her own books helped too but when she started making more money than Jeremy.... he quit that job. There is also tons of boxes and files down in the basement that Lowen thinks that hopefully she won't have to go through. So Jeremy cleans out the tank for Crew and she decides to call it a night when all Lowen can hear is Verity's hospital bed moving and now things are just creepy.... but how does Verity know how to interact with others and who she is talking to... who is touching her... or etc....

OMG I just finished chapter 13 and I'm glad we get to see a bit more into Lowen's past but like WTF. She should have gotten herself help about this years ago.......

I just finished this chapter and the fact of her sleep walking and going into Verity's room.... Then Jeremy laying in the bed with her to get her to go back to sleep.... Holy cow!!! I can't handle this suspense.... Even broke her wrist and didn't feel the pain till she woke up the next morning... oh lord!!!

I wonder if Lowen has Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly known as multiple-personality disorder) and her other personality is a psychopath that comes out when Lowen is sleeping.....

@cat you could be right… wish we would have known that for sure but I would be scared is I was staying in the house of a psychopath but Verity has no room to talk…. And with Lowens past it’s bound determine to happen but the fact that Jeremy is trying to help her I think it will get better.

Chapter 14- Lowen wakes up at eight in the morning and she is soo embarrassed by what happened last night that Jeremy is going to help her solve the issue to where it won't happen again. Lowen is staring out the window and even though she is tired she is working on the outline for the 7th book in the series when Jeremy bumps into her and asks her if it would make her feel better if he put a lock on the outside of the door so if she does sleepwalk... she won't be able to get outside the door. He will lock it before he goes to bed and will unlock it when he gets up in the morning. April walks in and she can feel something is going on because the whole morning all she does is stare at Lowen. So hopefully this idea will work out!

Verity's Book Chapter 6- Verity had given birth to the twins 6 months ago and Verity of course still wished the twins were never born and that she would have been on birth control. It had crossed Verity's mind several times where she just wanted to leave the house and leave Jeremy to take care of the kids by himself because Verity knew that Jeremy loved his daughters soooo much. Verity knew that the bond between Jeremy and the girls Verity would never be apart of and she hated that. Verity had a really bad nightmare that night about the twins. At the time the twins would have been 8 or 9 years old and Verity dreamed that Harper was going to smother her sister with a pillow so much that it would get to the point where Chastin would die because she couldn't breathe in the pillow. Over time Verity had fallen in love with Chastin but she didn't really love Harper. But the night she had the nightmare, Verity had a hard time sleeping and she was trying to hide that thought in the back of her mind, but she knew that when Jeremy woke up... Jeremy had ways to get Verity to talk about what was on her mind and Verity was scared to tell what was on her mind. So instead she occupied herself by pleasuring Jeremy. Verity had called her husband a whore because Jeremy had said that there were several women who had S***** his **** before and Verity only had 2 guys in her past. So that night right before the two of them were doing their thing.... Harper was waking up screaming because she was hungry and Verity walked in to check and she was purposely sticking her fingers in her mouth trying to suffocate her child so she wouldn't breathe..... baby monitor was unplugged so Jeremy had no way of knowing what Verity was actually doing to their 6 month old daughter..... So when Jeremy comes in... Jeremy is pissed off because she is screaming so bad and she won't shut up..... Jeremy looks at Verity because the cry was worse after Verity tried her thing.....

@cat I lost all respect for Verity if you want me to be honest. From here on out in this book I don’t care if she gets worse or better but the fact that she is trying to kill her own daughter is fucked up ins ooo many ways and I wish Jeremy would see all the things that Verity is doing….. verity has some serious issues and she needs to give her rights up if she thinks doing that to her children is okay…. It’s sickening and it has my blood boiling so bad….

Chapter 15- After the chapter Lowen just read about Verity trying to kill her daughter... That calls for a break. Well perfect timing because Jeremy comes to get her from the office because it's 10 pm and she still has to eat tacos and drink her margarita that Jeremy made her. Lowen has been in the office for 12 hours working on the book series and the meteor shower is tonight so Jeremy wants her to watch it with the family. So while she is eating her dinner, they are sitting on the porch just looking into the sky and for sure the sky has tons of them and it feels good t obe outside the office just getting some fresh air. So while they are both just laying in the grass, watching the night sky, this is the closest its been since Jeremy has been close to Lowen. But apparently Jeremy grew up on a alpaca farm and Verity's parents stopped talking to her ever since she was writing thrillers like this. Verity's parents were extremely religious and they did not like her writing at all and they didn't approve of her writing books about this creepy stuff so they haven't talked to her in years. I mean they know about the twins dying and Verity's accident but they havent heard from her parents ever since. But with things going on at the house, Lowen thinks that it would help Crew if he was in therapy. Lowen admitted she was in therapy for her sleepwalking and she never regretted it and she has always listened to what her therapist told her. So after laying out in the grass talking to each other, Jeremy calls it a long night and decides that since it's late they should wrap things up. So this is the first night that Jeremy will lock the door from the outside but while she is inside she can still work on the book series but she will be locked in her room until Jeremy opens the door in the morning. But Jeremy lied to Lowen about one thing that was very important to her and when she finds out... Lowen heart just melts. So Verity has NEVER read Lowen's books before but Jeremy was the one that has read Lowen's books and he is the one that mentioned Lowen's name taking over this book series. Jeremy thought that Lowen's writing on her books was really good and that made Lowen's heart melt. So Jeremy is flirting a little bit and it's working.

Verity's Book Chapter 9- Verity had made Jeremy's favorite meal which was chicken and dumplings. She wanted to use this night to show Jeremy how much she appreciated him. The past few days Jeremy has not been happy with Verity and when they have sex, it feels different too. Jeremy had a bad day at work and he comes home and finds out that Verity had put all of the kids in daycare so she could go back to work. Verity is the one bringing in most of the money but when she lies about being pregnant with their 3rd child just so Jeremy will show her affection.... She doesn't know how she is going to hide her lie. Ever since the kids have been with the nanny in daycare, Verity talks about Chastin all the time and hardly ever talks about Harper. That also upsets Jeremy because the nanny thinks that Harper should get tested but Verity only loves her one child which is Chastin. Wit Harper being special needs... Verity doesn't want to take the time to be a mom to 2 kids so she just chooses not to talk about Harper and Jeremy doesn't like that. So Jeremy has tried to get time alone from Verity tonight but Verity is trying so hard to figure out why Jeremy is acting like a freaking a**.

Chapter 16- Lowen has went back and fourth in between creating this outline and she has worked so hard that she has sent the first outline over to Corey and so while she waits she is going to watch some TV and just relax. Lowen has been staying at the Crawford's house for 2 weeks now and alot has happened since she has stayed there. Lowen is about to be 32 tomorrow and she has no plans to do anything but just relax and wait to hear back if this outline is good enough. So while she is sitting down on the couch Jeremy comes walking down to join her and he is very shocked when he sees her just relaxing and he knows that she can't stay here forever. Well Lowen is about to have some money in her account so sooner or later she is going to have to go back to New York and get herself another apartment. So Lowen is going to spend a few more days at the house and then she is going to leave. Jeremy is not happy so instead he makes her a cake for her birthday and it's really late so Jeremy sings her happy birthday and tries to spend some time with her. They both have feelings for each other but Lowen didn't think that Jeremy was going to be kissing on her and trying to feel up her shirt when he is still married to Verity. But what's even more creepy is while they are messing around on the couch downstairs... Lowen is sooo sleep deprived that she swears she sees Verity standing at the top of the stairs and she thinks that Verity just saw them kissing each other. Lowen honestly thinks that Verity is faking this whole thing but does jeremy really know Verity like he does... I mean he hasnt read any of her books so he wouldn't know all the horrible things she has done. But is Jeremy going to stick to his vows for Verity or will he move on and find another woman that he can be with.... So Lowen has been working hard and she hasn't had a good nights rest in a while so Jeremy is going inside Lowen's room and he decides to lay down in bed with her for a little bit and then once she is sound asleep he will go to his bed. But Lowen is really wanting a relationship with Jeremy but she is scared to because of Verity. But is Verity faking all this crap?

Verity's Book Chapter 13- Jeremy found out that Verity had lied about being pregnant with their 3rd child... but 2 weeks later.. Verity ended up getting pregnant with Crew. Jeremy had stayed home and helped the nanny out with the kids and worked around the house while Verity wrote her books. The twins were over at a friends house when they got the call saying that Chastin had ate something and didn't wake up. So as soon a Jeremy gets the call about the twins... Verity thinks that Harper purposely tried killing her sister but they don't know what happened... Verity was traveling alot for work. So sex was hardly there for them and life was great until they received the news that one of the twins had passed away. Jeremy and Verity rush to the hospital to see what happened and they have to wait in the waiting room. Jeremy was sooo pissed off when he saw his daughter laying in the bed dead. She had looked like she had been laying dead for a few days.... So now Jeremy has been acting different ever since he lost his daughter.

Verity is so selfish, I can't handle it!!!!

Chapter 18- Verity's nurse April has gotten Verity house of the room a little bit and is sitting her on the couch so she can watch a little TV. April tried putting Verity to bed and she is just not going to sleep because she is awake. So Lowen is in the office working when she is going to make Crew and Jeremy some spaghetti for dinner. Jeremy is upstairs getting Crew ready for bed so after he eats he will have all that done. But Lowen is testing her patients and is trying to get a reaction out of Verity as she is just sitting on the couch motionless. Not moving a muscle just sitting... Verity is still alive but she doesn't react to noises either... So deep down Lowen stares straight into her face and tries to think of something that will get a reaction out of Verity which the only thing she can think of is saying "Verity, I am going to end up having sex with your husband tonight." Again..... just sits there and doesn't do anything.... Lowen feels so bad for the way Jeremy lives his life and Lowen has told Jeremy that he needs to take some time alone for himself and that he seriously needs to put Verity in a full time care facility so Crew and Jeremy aren't stuck in this house all the time taking care of Verity while she sees to be "sick..." But Lowen still thinks she is faking this whole thing. So once Jeremy has Crew all ready he comes down stairs and all the sudden the TV is muted as she is making dinner and Lowen is tired of her being the one seeing things and no one else seeing what's going on. So Jeremy admits that he wants to be with Lowen and he won't put Verity in a facility unit because Crew won't handle that very well after he just lost his twin sisters.

I totally agree with you! She cares about herself and that's it. She doesn't care for Jeremy, Crew, or the Twins when they were alive. As long as Verity had what she wanted she was happy. Well Jeremy shouldn't have to live his life like this. But only he can change the way he wants to live.

Chapter 19- Pretty much the whole night Jeremy and Lowen had fallen asleep together and Jeremy can't be seen in Lowen's room. The whole night consisted of sex and just talking with each other and asking questions about their lives. Lowen tells Jeremy that her past relationship with Corey Lowen's agent was all about sex and Jeremy didn't quite think that was the answer he was looking for. Jeremy loved Verity very much but he knew that there was some kind of connection that was not there for so long and he knew that he didn't find that connection but he found that spark with Lowen. So When Jeremy wakes up to leave Lowen's room in the morning, the door is stuck. It won't open and Jeremy is calling for Crew so he can open the door but Lowen is nervous because she is laying butt ass naked in the bed and she is scared that Crew will see that they slept together. So in order for Jeremy to escape the room, he had to bust the bedroom window open and go around and unlock the door. So pretty much Crew had fallen asleep with Verity when he went to check on them. But April walks in and sees Jeremy panicking because he made it just in time to escape April catching them in the same room together. April has suspected something waaaaaaay before these two started having sex and sneaking around finding time alone with each other. So Lowen tells April that Jeremy was up all night with Crew so she wouldn't know anything... But April already knows that a lie. So now things are even more awkward and whats going to happen next.... will they end up caught in bed together?
