This is what I thought about Beauty and the Beast!

4.5 stars

I really enjoyed this rendition of Beauty and the Beast! Elle was a fantastic character! So were a lot of the servants. Instead of just making them all background characters that no one cares about she really made you care. I really appreciate that.

The plot and scenes of the story were captivating! I was very impressed! I was also amazing at how I took this story down in like a day and a night! Very good!

I wasn't really happy with the conclusion of the story. He literally enslaved her and she just forgave him for it. I feel like it takes a lot longer than that. Plus I didn't feel like he was as sorry about it as he should be. I know he was mad at himself but I mean he says he's going to stop treating people like pawns but will he really?

I love it! They should make a movie and follow all the dialogue from the book. They can't make any of their Hollywood tweaks.

That would be amazing!

Bookish If only… it would be so cool! All of the books, actually. But I always think it’s hard to make books into movies since you can’t show the characters thoughts as well.

Bookish Did anyone else notice this topic says “November BOTM”? Isn’t it for September?

I liked how Elle wasn't a traditional princess. Her personality was spunky and I liked how independent she was. I was confused about why Severin (view spoiler) Despite my confusion, it was still an enjoyable read and I had fun with it.
