reminds me of a movie back in the eighties where someone found glasses that allowed them to see the alien invaders among the people. Forgot the name of the movie,

Believe it or not, the first part of that actually happened to me -- the part about mistakenly picking up someone else's glasses in the men's room. I took my them off (black, horn-rimmed glasses) and put them on the sink, to wash my face. I was vaguely aware of some guy next to me. When I was finished at the sink, I picked up what I thought were my glasses -- they were a little further away from me than I had thought. The prescription was pretty much the same as mine. The glasses were the same color as mine, the edges were a little thicker. That happened in Manhattan, back in the 1970s. But ... I wasn't able to see into the future :) But that gave me the idea for this story.

Sounds like a cool story. Will have to check it out!
