Before he leaves, Evan tells Leanne she’s free and what she needs to tell law enforcement. And, she becomes his first client as he gives her what we know to be instructions about paying it forward. Do you think he always planned to do this or did he fall into these missions because of Leanne?

~Melissa~ | 429 comments It seems with his skillset that this a no brainer. Granted he could've gone the mercenary for hire but I think he prefers to be able to help the helpless and this is a way for him to do it. He has his 'clients' find one person that has no one to help them. He doesn't need to go searching and he doesn't want anyone searching for him.

I think Evan was still trying to figure out how he was going to help the innocents and hadn’t yet come up with The Nowhere Man. She sealed his vision.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments Yes, I agree. He's still trying to find out who and what he is now, while he is the target himself to be killed....

Susan (cruelshoes) | 158 comments I agree with you all. He has found his way in life now. The paying it forward has given him purpose.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I felt that Evan was still trying to figure out exactly what he was going to do with his life. He knew he wanted to help people, but wasn't sure how to get the word out without putting himself in the public eye. Asking the person he rescued to find the next person and pay it forward makes perfect sense for his situation.
