not for the word "one," sorry.
not for the word "one," sorry.

not for the word "one," sorry."
good to know, thanks for the reply

Does Book A also have to be a whole-numbered book in the series if we're using Last or Final?
For example The Last Wish is The Witcher #0.5, so it couldn't work for Book B, but could it work for Book A as "Last" is in the title?
Thanks.

Yes, the task says "or" - if you're using the word in title choice, you don't need to use a series book at all. This was purposely designed for those people who don't like to read series books.

It needs to be after #1.
It needs to be after #1.

Thanks!

give me an example
give me an example

Preludes & Nocturnes
there are 10 primary works (a la GR) but other prose novellas and other things

You don't have to worry about other stuff that's not in the series as listed on GR - so since this is #10, and there doesn't seem to be a #11, this would work.

that's fine
that's fine

The task does not require a novel.

It's the most recently published in the series (#15, published August 2022), but the GR series lists an upcoming book (#16, expected publication June 8th 2023).
Does the scheduled publication of an upcoming book in the series rule this one out as the "last or most recent"?

no, that will work - it's the latest published.

A. Celebrate the end of the year by reading the most recently published book in a series or a book that includes the word FINAL or LAST in its title. The book must be the last or most recent in the events in the series - no prequels. Words must match exactly.
AND
B. Celebrate the beginning of the year by reading the first whole numbered book in a series or a book that includes the word FIRST or ONE in its title. Words must match exactly.
In each case, a series must have at least 3 published whole numbered books.
