One of the Victorian authors we have no record of reading here in this group is George MacDonald. He is considered a major forerunner of the Fantasy genre and he was very popular in the 19th century. George MacDonald wrote a number of memorable books and stories, so there is much to choose from. I thought we'd start with The Princess and the Goblin. It is the first book in a two-part series. The second book is The Princess and Curdie. The book isn't too long, it will be about a 5 week read.
