♥ Sandi ❣ | 617 comments I have not read this book. I have read Room, Astray and The Pull of the Stars all of which I liked. I also have Frog Music on my shelf. Not sure if I will have time to read this one - I might just watch the movie. If I do decide to read this one it won't be until sometime In December at the earliest. And of course, I read before I watch!

♥ Sandi ❣ | 617 comments Ok, put the Playaway on hold at my library. Should get it by early next week. But it may be a little bit before I can get to it.

DeAnn | 15 comments I'm currently reading this one and plan to watch the movie when I'm finished. Very Irish and I'm not quite sure what to think yet.

I enjoyed both. As is usual for me, I enjoyed the book more.

♥ Sandi ❣ | 617 comments I have the playaway and hope to start listening to it soon - then I will also watch the movie.

♥ Sandi ❣ | 617 comments Just ending this book probably later today. Then I can watch the movie. Did you girls watch the movie already?

I watched it. I thought the book was better (of course), but the movie was also good.

DeAnn | 15 comments I watched it too. Beautifully filmed and perfectly dreary. I did notice a few changes from the book, but I think that's natural. The book is of course better. I'll be curious to read your thoughts Sandi.

♥ Sandi ❣ | 617 comments Finished the book on Thursday and watched the movie yesterday. I thought the movie followed the book fairly well. I enjoyed the people who played the characters.

I don't usually watch a movie until months after I finish a book, gives me time to forget a lot about the book, there fore I am not critical because the adaptation didn't follow the book's story well enough. But I thought this one was pretty good.

DeAnn | 15 comments I'm the same way Sandi, usually there's a huge gap between when I read the book and watched the movie. I'm glad you liked the movie version.

I just started watching Discovery of Witches and I read it ages ago, but it seems to be following the books pretty closely too as far as I recall!

Phyllis Runyan | 17 comments I read the book in January and watched the movie in February. The only thing I didn't like about the movie is the music. I thought the book was followed closely and the actors were excellent but that awful music just ruined it for me.
