Hi everyone! I usually read about 100 books each year, so I'm going to try for a little more this year. I'll hopefully remember to leave a review on Goodreads, but I have started logging my books on the spreadsheet below. It was started by a person in a Pride and Prejudice variations group I follow on Facebook, so the italic summaries are hers and the regular font is mine. The ones I have mark Read but don't have a summary or an italic summary I read before I started the spreadsheet and I plan to go back and reread them to complete the summaries. A tale delevops in which the good find love and the bad get their commupance. Writing was meh, but the story was cute.

Charles Bingley invites his friend Darcy to meet his fiance Elizabeth Bennet. This starts the roller coaster ride of mixed matches and mismatches. I wish there was an epilogue for our couple.
102. To dance in the rain https://www.dwiggie.com/derby/old_200... 4 stars. A cute Modern short. Elizabeth and Darcy meet at a restaurant when they are stood up by her sister and his friend respectively and fall for each other fast.
103. A letter lost, a love found https://www.dwiggie.com/derby/old_200... 4 stars. A 12 year old Georgiana sees a letter fall out pf a mail coach and sends it back to the writer and thus establishes a friendship with an unknown lady which benefits not just them but her brother too. Cute story.
104. Longbourn's trustee https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12647642... 4 stars. Re-read. A long one shot. In this, Mr. Bennet dies 2 years before Bingley's arrival and Mr. Collins had died before him breaking the entail and Nr. Bennet leaves the property to his grandson and appoints Mr. Gardiner as its trustee. Thus the Gardiners move into Longbourn and brings many changes to the household. So Bingley and Darcy see a very different set of Bennet family on their arrival which leads to a more uncomplicated union for them.
105. For Pemberley: A Pride & Prejudice Novella https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... 4 stars. Re-read. Audiobook. A sweet though angsty story.
106. Coincidence https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... 3 stars. While visiting the Hunsford parsonage for the first time, Darcy overhears a conversation between Elizabeth and the Colonel and realises her dislike for him. You would think this should actually make it easier for him to court her and then you'll be left thinking so. He just beats around the bush (sometimes literally), hems and haws and irritates not just Elizabeth but us too. By the time, he comes to the point, we would've read a really bland and mostly unnecessary 400+ pages.
107. Hit me with your best shot https://www.dwiggie.com/derby/suzo7.htm 5 stars. When his hostess induces Darcy to display his skill as the "finest marksman in England " during Elizabeth's stay at Netherfield, Darcy never expected to compete to retain that title and that too with a lady.
108. Shot down https://www.dwiggie.com/derby/suzo9.htm 5 stars. A very amusing sequel to the previous story about how two more suitors were shot down by Lizzy. I just loved the Wickham story.
109. Speechless https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4... 5+ stars. Re-read. This is such a beautiful story. This author has a way to contriving interactions between Darcy and Elizabeth that is so lovely. Though controversial and contrary, their conversations are lovely. One of the best JAFFs.
