What book did you mean to read in 2022? Why did you not get to it?

Jessica (justjessica365) The Last Kingdom is on my list. at one point this year i took it out from the library but life got in the way so i never got to actually read it

Books, Crooks, & Hooks (bookscrookshooks) The Final Girl Support Group is the book I selected for this prompt.

It’s been on hold for months, I’m too cheap to just buy it :)

♱ laura | 5 comments i read queen of myth and monsters.

this was easily my most anticipated read of 2022, but i held off on reading until now so that i could start 2023 with what i thought would be a new favourite book. spoiler, it's not 😔 i would, however, recommend book 1 to anyone who is a fan of fantasy romance.

Kathy | 6 comments I've put The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah in here. I added it to my TBR list in April last year. Actually got the book much more recently but it was the first KH book that caught my attention (have since collected a few others but have yet to read any of them!!).

I finished reading Defend the Dawn, which was supposed to be in a category for my PopSugar 2022 challenge, but I did not get it finished last year.

Moriarty | 16 comments I just finished the midnight library, which I think also fits the booktok category (books are allowed to check 2 categories for me cause I probably won't manage to read 40 books). Thought it was kinda mid tbh.

message 12: by Cadi (new)

Cadi | 2 comments I was originally going to read Lessons in Chemistry for this prompt but I think I'll move that to the one about movie/TV show coming out in 2023. So, that leaves me with Things We Never Got Over for this prompt.

Nessa (the_vanessa) "Have I Told You This Already?: Stories I Don't Want to Forget to Remember" by by Lauren Graham

Linda Manuel | 10 comments So one of the last books I read in 22 was The Boys from Biloxi. One of my first books of 23 was Mississippi Mud, the non fictional account of the incident that inspired Grisham to write ‘Boys’
