Favorite read of 2022: So hard to choose... I loved The Lost Metal... and read a ton of nice cozy reads like Legends & Lattes and The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches... and T. Kingfisher entries to a ton of genres like Nettle & Bone and What Moves the Dead and Bryony and Roses... and fun sci-fi like The Kaiju Preservation Society and Upgrade... just read and loved Down Among the Dead Men, which has made me think of Craig Schaefer's other release this year Any Minor World, which involved comic book villains entering the real world, and having to enter the noir comic book world to defeat them...

I think I'll go with A Catalogue of Catastrophe, the most fun I've had with a new Chronicles of St. Mary book in a long while...

EDIT: WANDERING INN... new audiobooks... how could I forget those... easy winner...

I had the slump from hell in 2022, plus I changed my work pattern mid year leading to less reading time while I adjusted so I imagine my 2023 points will be somewhere in-between these two numbers.

I had a slump in 2022, I've only read 35 or so books, while usually I read 70-100 in a year.

I can't predict how next year will look like because I'm going in for surgery in January and I reckon it could go either way.

Wooo the more the merrier!

Guess it would make sense to put me back on the Blood Eagles from a points perspective, but Silver Wings has the fewest members from that perspective.

It's important to remember Frank only inputs books/points once a month or so... not sure how accurate the current point totals are, really...
