Robin is preparing for what he feels will be a blockbuster film, Riptide, but it’s clear he’s drinking heavily. Did that surprise you or did you suspect it would worsen following the last story?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I was sad that he was still drinking so heavily. I had hoped he would at least stop the drinking, even if he still had problems coming to terms with his sexual orientation.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I was disappointed that he was still drinking so much.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments It was sad he was still drinking but not surprising since he was living a lie and trying to cope.

I felt for Jane and Cosmo trying to get through to him. It must have been devastating for Jane to tell him that she wouldn't leave him alone with her son.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree with Lauren. I wasn't surprised that he was drinking. It was the way he coped with his press image and his true identity.

I felt bad for Jane. She loves her brother, and to not trust him with his nephew must be hard.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments In addition to all his problems he was an alcoholic and was in denial about a lot of things.

I recall being a little surprised that his drinking was out of control as much as it was. But, given his family history, I should have suspected that it would get worse. Not only was he living a lie, he was loving a man he couldn’t have.
