Max Bhagat and Gina Vitagliano are now married with a one-year old daughter, Emma. According to Jules, he’s seriously mellowed out but still a formidable leader. He’s also openly positioning Jules as his replacement. Is this the Max you expected to see?

Yes, he worked so hard for so long that when Gina came into his life, it was time for him to actually have a life that wasn't his job.

I agree, Anita. Max has finally settled down to be a husband and a father. His job is not the most important thing in his life anymore. He knows Jules can do the job and he wants him to have it.

Wow! Marriage and fatherhood definitely made Max mellow. He deserves to be happy and more than earned it.

It was clear that Max had been preparing Jules for promotion for a few books. Now, that he understands that his family comes first, he knows that Jules is the right person to replace him.

Max lived for his work for so long because he didn't have anything else in his life. Now that he is happy with a wife and a daughter, he is putting a lot of the energy he put into work into his family. I love this Max.

Jules will be a good replacement.

Me too! He has become the man I (and Gina) always knew he could be, lol!

This isn’t the Max I expected to see but he sure was the one I wanted to see. He’s got more of a life now and it’s made him a better leader.

I liked how he told Jules that getting more sleep and being relaxed now gives him sharper focus. Go Gina!
