As Annie suspected, Lillian Lavelle wasn’t who she presented herself to be and the case goes seriously sideways when she shows up ready to shoot Gordie Junior. From that point forward, Ric’s main concern was protecting Annie but she focused on using good judgment and her instincts. How did she do?

She was a natural in reading the situation and the players. She did great.

Annie has good instincts. She showed Ric that she was good enough to be his partner at work and in love.

Annie was the perfect match for Ric. He was the only one who couldn't see it.

Annie was perfect. She confirmed my initial opinion of her.

At every juncture, Annie showed good judgment and could take care of herself. Poor Ric was too busy trying to protect her to see what everyone else could.
