I enjoyed this one when I read it a few years ago, hope you both do as well! Have either of you watched the movie from a few years back? I have not and didn't know if it was supposed to be any good either.

Yep, I knew there was a movie, but I haven't gotten to it yet. I heard it was pretty good, though. I think I'll wait until I finish the book, then I'll try to watch it. 😊

I read this a couple years ago too and liked it. I have seen the movie and it was good but I think they could’ve done more with the nastiness. I’ll have to look, I don’t know if it’s based on this book.

I checked and the movie isn’t based on this book. There’s a lot of Krampus out there. For a really great Christmas horror check out Rare Exports. It’s Finnish and a must-watch for us!

I just put the audiobook & ebook (for the illustrations) on hold through Libby. I wish I'd done it sooner. I won't get them this year.

I’m enjoying it Vickie! I’m not sure where it’s all going and who I should be cheering for, but I think that’s what I like about it. It’s a hot mess of Christmas fun with (view spoiler)[wolves, ravens, weird imp people, drug dealers, shitty cops, etc. (hide spoiler)]. 😂🤣

I would like too but it will depend on my reading schedule with The Expanse. I'm doing one book a month with the series. I guess I can always still read it and then get back to the spoilers? I have the book so I'm not waiting on a library hold or anything like that.

Will this be your first Brom book Dan? I'm really liking his writing and enjoying the heck out of Krampus.

It's a great horror book for Christmas! There's not a lot of those out there except NOS4R2, etc.? I'll have to find some more for next year around this time.

Hey guys! You know I always lurk on the threads when y'all are reading something! I wanted to join but didn't have time! Dammit! But, I may be able to swing Lost Gods if y'all do that one. Also, The Child Thief by Brom is fantastic, super dark Peter Pan retelling.

I plan on reading The Child Thief shortly. 😊 And Lost Gods will most likely be some time in January, so it's possible I'll be reading both simultaneously, at some point.😆
