Play Book Tag discussion

In the 1950's young Marion has a serious high school crush on her best friend's brother, Tom. Marion goes on to become a teacher and Tom a policeman and they reconnect. Yet life for Marion and Tom isn't what it seems to be in Bethan Roberts' novel My Policeman.

It is, I imagine a story which could be told countless times and perhaps now is a good time to imagine what life used to be like.

While I enjoyed reading this book and it gave me much to think about, I did have a few issues with the timing.

Well, it has been made into a movie starring Harry Styles and he appears on the covers of some.

This is a bit of a retelling of E.M. Forster.
