uplifted | 14 comments Finished this book and it was enjoyable to read but the plot wasn’t that good in my opinion but does anyone have any opinions about this book?

rita | 1 comments Overall I think the book was good but it is definitely missing something. I really wanted to read more about the relationship between Atlas and Ryle, and how they ended up working it out. Another relationship that could have been more explored was the one between Atlas and Marshal. I think they would make great friends. Basically, in my opinion it felt like the end of this book was kind of rushed. In the beginning of the book we get so many details about Atlas and Lilys life, but towards the end of the book, months go by between each chapter and I think it felt a little forced. What do you guys think?

Lia I read it because I wanted to buy it on release day & I had just finished it ends with us so I was curious.

Overall, I hated the book. I know Lily deserves her perfect ending especially with all the pain Ryle caused but I feel like It could’ve been easily shortened to an epilogue rather a full length chapter book. I don’t know why we got Atla’s backstory, or why his mom is suddenly relevant? I got so infuriated reading her chapters because she’s so rude and annoying. Plus, they keep saying the most cringe stuff and try to be cute, and the CoHo fandom eats it up as if it ain’t humiliating. “It is my wish, for you to my fish.” dear god.

I feel Atla’s character is only important to the story because he was Lily’s first love, and that’s it. He’s not really…interesting at all. I feel like the author justifies Atlas by saying “oh he would never hit a woman” which is great, but it’s like the bare minimum.

The babies name is what was going to make me throw this stupid book into a fire, I mean seriously Emerson Dory Kincaid.

Overall zero stars and its the LAST CoHo book I will ever read
