Clean YA Book Club discussion

Our theme for this month was to nominate a book with either the word "New" or "Year" in the title. This book was nominated in both our 12- and 13+ age groups, AND it was nominated several times and/or seconded and thirded. So we will ALL read this book for January. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!..

Oh im so excited to read this! Its been on my tbr for a while now and Anne of Green Gables is one of my favorite books<3

Is this a classic? I kinda have a phobia of reading classic novels thinking that it's gonna be a hard read!

I haven't read this one before, but if it's similar to Anne of Green Gables, it shouldn't be hard to read. Of course, the conversation and writing style is slightly different than novels today, but I found Anne of Green Gables to be easy to comprehend.

i just realized when i went to look for it that my library doesnt have it😭but im working on trying to get it from another citys library, so hopefully im able to get it this month!
