When Bree and her team struggle to find any evidence of Harper Scott’s existence, did you begin to doubt Alyssa’s story, figure she, too, had been deceived or some combination of both?

I never doubled Alyssa's story but it definitely peaked my interest as to what she saw. I felt bad that in the beginning there was no evidence to support her story that she saw Harper shot.

I was wondering what Alyssa really knew about Harper.

I believed everything Alyssa told the police. I didn't think she knew a lot about Harper before they decided to share a cabin.

I did not doubt her. We get her POV at the beginning of the book, so we "saw" and "heard" what she did - Harper definitely existed and there was a shooter/killer/

Since Alyssa didn’t name Harper in the prologue, I began thinking her story had some holes in it. There’s no doubt she witnessed a shooting but I started to question who it was.
