I've recommended the work of Heather Day Gilbert to members of this group before, since although she's an American author, she writes in what we think of as "the English style." The seventh book in her Barks and Beans Cafe mystery series, Roast Date, was published just last week on Kindle. (Barb and I are currently reading the series opener, No Filter, and enjoying it.)
Hi J (or skewed if you prefer!)
In the spirit of Christmas - and as it's a good idea - I'll let this thread stand. But please note rule 4: only the mod is allowed to post new threads in this group. Thanks!
(Oddly enough, I Iooked for this post when you originally posted it, but GR said it wasn't there!)

It's OK J - mainly it's to avoid duplication and self-promotion. I hope we get some good suggestions here!
