I just started Rock & Roll Homicide. Its surprisingly good.

I'm in love with DCI John Blizzard. It's a new series that I started from a new to me author, John Dean. I have blown through the first two books so far.

Finished Rock & Roll Homicide and The Railway Man.

Started another two new authors to me The Lock Artist by Steve Hamilton and The Good Samaritan by John Marrs.

I'm enjoying both books so far.

I have not seen or heard of any of these.

I am really needing to pare down my list. I might abandon a few more before long. The trick is to stop adding more new ones for me.

I just finished The Lock Artist with another new to me author. The book and the writing was fabulous. I'm looking for more from him.

I just finished The Good Samaritan. I liked it in the beginning but as the story went on, I began to hate it. I didn't like where the story was headed and truly disliked it at the end.

I finished The Secrets Man. It's a good book.

I just finished Back from the Brink. This was another new to me author and I finished both books back to back. The characters I thought were genuine and believable. The son, Jordan, was so funny. I enjoyed the sense of humor.

Best part is that this series just had the two so far. No reading over 10 books. ;)

Finished Where the Crawdads Sing. What an amazing book! I cannot believe that it took me this long to read it.

What the went through, her self-awareness to keep going. She was quite a woman and ots so sad how only a few people wanted to help her.

I have really been enjoying the books, Jannene. I have listened to so many audiobooks that I have not tracked on GR this year. I looked at my book challenge and it only has 40 of 170 books. I just cannot get motivated to enter them all.

Glad you liked the latest Pendergast book. I just cannot figure out where it is going, or how it will turn out. It is excruciating waiting for the next book!
