Also, I started a new to me series. The first book in the series was his debut novel. Can I use that as a debut novel even though, since its release, he has written over fifty novels?
Sharon, it was your least favorite genre when you opened the book. It may still be your least favorite genre but you’re willing to explore more. Yes, use it.
Debut novel doesn’t specify when…just that it’s the author’ s first book. The answer is yes you can use it.

Thank you Sandra didn't think I was going to get the" beach read" and non of my other books would qualify for chick lit. 😂 😂
I think "women's fiction" is a very broad field & open to interpretation. And as I've mentioned before...we're very lenient within this challenge. If it "fits" in your eyes, you're good. :)

Good luck Judy.

This is the challenge that will not get done this year. The ones I didn't get to is just not genres or topics I ever read or could get interested in.

I understand Michelle. I'm working on a challenge that I ignore because it is out of my reach this late in the year.
