Reading Corner Support Goals for the New Year

Let’s begin with author shoutouts for Marcelle Valentine, S. Lynn Helton, and Gary Stringer. Their frequent participation was greatly appreciated! Each of the honest reviews they submitted were fair blending compliments with constructive criticism. Both displayed kindness and respect.

The Reading Corner was inspired by mutually supportive indie authors on Instagram and had hoped to recreate that experience for self-published authors within this group. With 2023 just days away and in the spirit of this group’s mission, it would be nice to show some love to our members by setting a reading & review goal.

Thank you for organising this Reading Corner, Joanie. I'd like to read a lot more fiction by indie authors in 2023, starting with Hydrosphere Rising by Philip J. Rutherford. (Not sure if I should leave the comment on this thread or in the thread on the book lists.)

Very kind of you, Joanie. I do what I can. Out of 24 books I read last year, 50% were indie published. (Not including the 15 million times I read through my own.) I've setting a similar target for 2023.

Your participation was definitely noteworthy, Gary. Thank you for sharing your goal. I had to laugh at your 15 million reads comment. The writing process is a seemingly endless activity of re-reading.
