There was some talk of Wandering Inn inspired team names, a few months ago... I'll talk to my team before making any changes (I remember the original names being communal efforts)... also, it seems like I'm the only team where I'm the only person that's read Wandering Inn...

Yanique's team has Yanique and Emily, and Niki's team has Frank and Nirkatze... Jenna's team has Brian and Choko and Julian...

So we'll see...

It was a bit more difficult to make teams this year since there were a lot of people who indicated they would probably have a lot more or a lot fewer points than how they performed in 2022. Add in a couple of new participants... and I also try to make sure that most people are not on the same team as the previous year.

Makes sense...

House of Chains is probably going to change its name to Horns of Hammerad… it’s had several votes so far, and probably fits the best of the options I tossed out…

I totally agree on that choice. I'm more than halfway now in Wandering Inn.

That could mean so many things… halfway through the first audiobook/volume… halfway through the 8 audiobooks… halfway through the 9 volumes and counting, online…

The web serial is like 3x longer than the audiobook releases… the 8th audiobook is the start/middle of Volume 4, I think?… can’t remember…

I forgot to be more specific and forgetting that most of the readers in the thread has already finished the volumes. I'm still at volume one, half way the e-book.

Wonderful! I was just about to message @Jenna concerning the teams. I will see if my team wants a name change as well.

Afaik, only person past audio releases is Soo… I tried and failed a few times, and know spoilers from wiki/etc…

OK! My team will be changing our name to "The Silver Swords" for this 2023 competition.
