Great African Reads discussion

I had to hurry and get this in here so I can generate the first number. Hopefully, I made wise choices. This year I am creating two lists - one with contemporary or newer African books and the other with 20th-century classics. I find myself ignoring the classics in favor of the shiny and new, so this will keep me in check as I will have to read off both lists simultaneously!
