Three Point Task
3.1 (Pat's Task) PETER RABBIT
Read 3 Books
Chinese New Year is the festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunisolar and solar Chinese calendar. Since 2023 is the year of the rabbit, I'd like to create a task around my favorite rabbit of all time - Peter Rabbit.
1. When I was a two-year-old girl, I had this entire book memorized, down to the vocal inflections that my mother used as she read it to me and the moment to turn the pages. The opening pages of this charming book tell of the three GOOD little bunnies - Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail - and one naughty little bunny - Peter.
Read a book by an author who has at least ONE initial - F, M, C, or P.
2. Peter gets into trouble by sneaking into Mr McGregor's garden. He simply cannot resist the lure of so many fresh vegetables, readily available for the taking.
Read a book with a garden, a garden fruit, or a garden vegetable on the cover.
3. Mr McGregor very nearly captures Peter, frightening him badly and causing him to lose his shoes and his jacket as he barely manages to escape.
Read a book with shoes on the cover.
Bonus Point ~ if the cover also shows a jacket.
