I usually do but then get annoyed if the cover looks awesome, but the book itself is bland.

At times I do too. But I have learned to read the back of the book and a little bit of the inside to see if I would like it. I am super picky with books.

most of the time, I read the summary to have an idea of what it's about and if it interests me, and other times i want to go blind and see what the cover tells me. but i try not to judge solely by the covers because i have read some of the best books ever with covers that had at first not interested me at all.

if it's an ebook then the cover doesnt matter but if im getting it as a physica the cover really matters

I really do ! I can buy a book just becouse It looks nice fancy and beautiful . but also I read the summary to make my mind . I'm I going to read it or just leave it as a sweet "addition " to my collection

yes!! it's what motivates me to read the book. I think romance books with illustrated covers are so good!!!
