Personally, I have no interest in reading anything else by V.E. Schwab or Samantha Shannon. I found Gallant & The Priory of the Orange Tree to be extremely boring.

chey🦇 | 23 comments I don’t have any urge to read Babel or Priory of the orange tree, they just look so thick for something I don’t think I would enjoy based off of description. Other ones but for no particular reason is anything Taylor jenkins reed, the invisible life of Addie la rue, & memoirs/non fiction

Eva ಇ (nineregs) | 23 comments Funny coz i really liked Priory of the orange tree, and really want to read Babel!!
But for me its CoHo's books... I read Verity and November 9 and found them pretty bad, i don't think its for me.
Also Sally Rooney's books in which i have like zero interest.

message 4: by Amelie (new)

Amelie for me, i‘m personally not gonna read the spanish love deception, at least not anytime soon. i don‘t even know why, i think i‘d typically like a book like this and am probably gonna read the american roommate experience, but something about the spanish love deception just says no for me, i don‘t know. and then yes i agree, anything by sally rooney is also not appealing to me at all. probably also won’t read any more books by casey mcquiston, currently reading red, white & royal blue and i can‘t with her writing, it‘s not for me.

Amelia :) (squeals211) | 15 comments I don't want to read any CoHo books. I'm not into romance books, and some of the reviews about how characters are treated in her books when they are still labeled as romance just doesn't sit right with me

message 6: by joanna (new)

joanna | 1 comments coho books, i generally dont read romance books and i dont like her as an author. also priory of the orange tree, its so long 😭 i just dont have time to read such a long book

message 7: by Crimson (new)

Crimson | 11 comments I agree with the CoHo thing and I also don't have any interest in her books but I also don't have any interest for classics. They just seem like a lot of effort to read

message 8: by brenda (new)

brenda (izzyfairchld) | 15 comments anything by coho, already read 2 and its enough to know that i have 0 interest on her books, and the from blood and ash because it has too many books on it

message 9: by avnii :) (new)

avnii :) | 2 comments Any Enid Blyton or you know, fantasy books. Any book where's plot just doesn't seem real. I mean I hate fantasy books, but if you'll pick up realistic fiction, count me in!

garie˚୨୧⋆。 | 1 comments coho books. i’ve read iewu but i dont have any interest in picking up her other books

message 11: by Alex (new)

Alex Behn (alexbehn) Anything Taylor Jenkins Reid. Malibu Rising was the most boring book and Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was okay but meh. I don’t get the hype about her books, but I will say reading about fake celebs and Hollywood isn’t for me

message 12: by avnii :) (new)

avnii :) | 2 comments any CoHo books.

message 13: by anwesha (new)

anwesha | 1 comments to be honest i really don't want to read it starts with us even though i was really excited to read it. i wanted to read about ryle's redemption, him trying to be better for his daughter but after reading some reviews my hopes are crushed!

message 14: by Karo (new)

Karo | 1 comments The Gild series, I gave it a go, but managed to read only 1/5 of the first book. It was so so awful but somehow so recommended by so many…. Who enjoys reading books full of SA and (let’s be honest) bad writing… it puzzles me

message 15: by Ali (new)

Ali 🇲🇽🦂🏳️‍🌈 (thebookvali) | 16 comments I’m going to get hate for this but- I have NO interest in reading anything Colleen Hoover. From what I’ve heard, these stories romanticize toxic relationships and I can’t. Bleh 🤮

message 16: by edie (new)

edie ✩ | 6 comments anything colleen hoover. ive heard too much about how problematic her books are, and how her writing isn’t even good. and even before hearing all that i wasn’t very interested in her books.

message 17: by CIA (new)

CIA (cias) | 6 comments Well, I don't have any interest in reading A Court of Silver Flames (because of two main reasons; first: I do not like when authors try to justify abusers with a tragic past or backstory, and second: the writing in the ACOTAR saga just screams "mediocre Wattpad fanfic").
And, I also don't want to get near any other book from CoHo, even at her "best writing" (It Ends With Us) she is still mediocre (she romanticized grooming, the abuser didn't face any true consequences for his nasty actions, and the ending was just lazy writing), and from other two books I've read from her, I noticed that she likes to romaticize toxicity and abusive couples.

message 18: by alayla ! (new)

alayla ! (alaylagrace) for me, i don't want to read anymore coho books. her writing is mediocre, and overall, she's just romanticizing abuse. although i read iewu & iswu, it just doesn't sit right with me.

message 19: by sorridexre (new)

sorridexre | 5 comments i have to say coho books. i feel like they romanticize abuse and seem to be very problematic at some points.

Amy Pasricha | 9 comments well........

I tried reading Harry Potter, but I couldn't get past the first few pages and I'm guessing that it is because its just not my genre. Can't watch the movies either. Unfortunately, I'm not going to push myself into the world of J.K. Rowling.

message 21: by Anna (new)

Anna (annaliest) | 17 comments i think I probably won't read any scifi or dystopian books in the future. So far I rarely liked those genres (maybe I'll find some exceptions)

Same. I read a few and I really liked one, then all the others fell short for me so I gave up on her.

Zeyno (hiatus) CoHo books, I just don't like her storylines or writing. (no offense...)

no offence to anyone that likes her writing/work, but it's just not for me.
