After Jessop is caught and police have finished taking statements, Sam realizes Adam is nowhere to be found and finds him in Robin’s room. Things get even more tense when Jules shows up and a confrontation ensues with Adam inciting the situation even more. Will he always be a lightning rod for Robin and Jules or were things resolved in that room? Will Adam finally give up as Sam advised him to do?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments Robin and Jules are much more secure in their relationship and I don't think they will allow Adam to come between them ever again.

Only time will tell if Adam grows up and becomes less selfish.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I don't expect Adam to give up trying. He can't stand to see Robin and Jules happy. However, Robin and Jules are secure in their relationship and Adam's tricks won't work any more.

I think this is the last time Adam will be able to wreak havoc between Robin and Jules. This was the confrontation they needed to be open and honest with each other about Adam. That door is now closed and he knows it.

Even though he’s not above trying, Adam has admitted defeat to himself.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I hope your right Jonetta. I'm ready for Adam to move on.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments Considering that Adam has his own story, I'm assuming he does move on.

I'm not sure how Brockmann is going to create a situation in which Adam is deserving of redemption and forgiveness. I can't see it right now.

Lauren, even though it will be a second read, I don’t remember it. I think we will learn about the “why” behind Adam’s behavior.

I think this is the final straw as it's clear that Jules & Robin have finally fully committed to not only each other, but to the truth. They have finally come completely clean and completely pledged their life to one another. I think Adam is done.

I knew there was an Adam story, but I wasn't expecting the events to play out they way they did. I liked it.

I just finished it and it was OK.
Adam is never going to be a likable character for me, and to be honest, I think Tony deserves better.

It may be true but some people change when they find what they are looking for and desire to keep it. I don't think Adam will be back. It felt like the book ended his relationship with the Troubleshooters.

The reason I was expecting more is because my book had 190 pages. Adam's story was only 60 pages. The rest of the book was various teases for her other books. I felt cheated.
