Yes, for your book challenge, each time you need to add a book, etc, just edit your original challenge post. (Message #6) There is no need to create a new post each time. Does that help answer your question?

Thanks, yes that's what I thought. On another group, they said to not edit but make a new post. Maybe because of the amount of people and posts. Thanks again! ;)

Adelia wrote: "What if none of the books on my TBR shelf are under 250 pages ? :("

Since all the books read within the Short and Sweet Treats group are under 250 pages, it may be helpful to take a peek at the group's bookshelf and add any books you are interested in to your own tbr shelf. That will give you some options to choose from for the challenge. :)

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi Laura! Amazing that it is May already. I think I need to schedule a few short books to read soon. :)

Allegra | 116 comments This looks like fun. Do we get to eat the treats we achieve?

Allegra wrote: "This looks like fun. Do we get to eat the treats we achieve?"

Ha! Sure why not, although it is totally BYOT. ;) I would not recommend indulging in 8 brownies during one sitting though, lol!

message 27: by Allegra (new)

Allegra | 116 comments Well, Lisa, I won't claim it would be a new experience, it I agree it's not advisable. In any case, the conversation is premature. So far my only qualifying title is Strangeville by Kenneth Tingle.

Allegra | 116 comments Question: How are you guys making these look like lists? Is there a way to "add" without retyping everything? Anyway:
1. Strangeville by Kenneth Tingle
2. This Doesn't Happen in the Movies by Renee Pawlish

Allegra- You should be able to create one post for the challenge. As you add more books, just edit your original message. (For message 30, there should be "reply", "edit", "delete" gold highlighted links in the lower left corner of your message.)

If you want to add the Goodreads' html links to the books, then use the "add book/author" gold highlighted link above the comment book.

I hope that helps. By the way, if you are using the Goodreads app on an android device or cell phone, I am not certain if you can use the add book/author feature??

message 32: by Liselott (new)

Liselott | 44 comments I would like to eat the achievement too! As I signed up for baker's dozen, and it's a bit far away,I was thinking when I have reached the brownie level, which is 6-8 books I can start eating them, and then wait till next level etc.
:))))

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Seven more weeks to go in the challenge!!

How is everyone doing so far?? There is still time to fit in a few more quick reads. :)

Allegra | 116 comments I've been reading, though not logging. I haven't forgotten but I have limitations in typing my lists. I'll get to it soon so we can check my progress. I may have earned a cookie, and that's always good to know

I finally got on a "real" computer and have time to use it, and I can put your instructions to good use. Now I just need to type all those titles. Thanks for the help.

message 40: by Allegra (new)

Allegra | 116 comments 1. This Doesn't Happen In The Movies
2. Murder Offstage: A Posie Parker Mystery
3. A Thyme to Die
4. The Magician's Nephew
5. The Horse and His Boy
6. The Silver Chair
7. Prince Caspian
8. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
9. The Last Battle
10. Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH
11. And Monkeys Threw Crap At Me: Adventures in Hunting, Fishing, and Writing
12. The Doll: The Lost Short Stories
13. When You Reach Me\
14. Plato and a Platypus Walk Into a Bar: Understanding Philosophy Through Jokes
15. Playing for Pizza
16. Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic

This was fun. I spent a lot more time with books than I'd foreseen.
I must admit that somewhere around April, I started choosing books based largely on their page count. Still, it gave me an excuse to hit some "younger" books, several shelf lingerers, and a graphic novel (to see what the fuss was about).

And, now, Off to the Bakery!!

message 41: by Holly (new)

Holly (whatwouldhollydo) Though I've done a ton of reading, I only managed to get to two books that were already on my TBR list : (
