Sorry! I want very good with coming up with questions. If I didn’t read the book, I didn’t know what to ask.

I'll try hard to come up with discussion questions for the Books of the Month. Thanks for the reminder.

I love finding out about new books through this group. (They don't have to be newly published, just new to me.) I tried to participate in the group reads as often as possible, though since having kids it is VERY helpful if the book is available in audiobook because then I can listen in the car or at work. Kindle-only is a no-go for me.
I agree that discussion questions within the book thread help encourage participation and discussion.

"I'm not sure if we have the group numbers to support this, but maybe having two concurrent books (1 reread / 1 new) would offer more variety. Hasn't happened to me yet during my short time with the group, but 2 months is a long time to sit on the sidelines if you don't want to read what the group chose."
Seems like an inspiration for something. Maybe just 'theme' months, maybe more.

- why you chose that book
- why (or how) it was on your TR list
- why you chose to read it right now?
For example, right now I'm finishing a kids-level graphic novel called Wings of Fire. Not my usual jam. Why did I read it? Because I lost a bet to my 10 year old, and winner picked a book the other had to read.
Considering its inaugural position, the topic is obvious.
What do you, the members, enjoy about this group? What would you like to see more of, or less of? Is there anything that would encourage you to participate more? Are there any tweaks you'd advise?
It's your group! Help us make it a good one!
