René escapes but Evan tracks him to Croatia where he’s using Despi as a lure and deterrent from being killed. Candy Clure and Jaggers are also laying in wait, anticipating Evan’s need to destroy René. What did you make of his retribution solutions to all of them? Is Candy gone for good?

I liked that Evan made Rene age. He fought so hard and hurt so many to avoid aging.

It is hard to say about these Orphans. I thought Candy was gone in the last book.
