Monika Riney (wildermirth) | 1 comments Hello folks,

I'm new to Goodreads and curious.
What are you all currently reading? I'm trying for the third time to read William Kennedy's Legs.
There's little exposition and the vernacular dialogue is difficult to inhabit. I haven't found a good paragraph to ground me and am about to give up again.

Anyone read and like Kennedy?

John Morgan (johnclmorgan) | 3 comments Not only have I not read William Kennedy, I have to plead ignorance as to who Kennedy is.

As for what I'm currently reading, I'm zipping through The Omnivore's Dilemma (Pollan) and plodding through Theodore Rex (Morris).

John

Dawn Potter | 1 comments I'm a Maine author, hoping you'll take a look at my newest book, a memoir from UMass Press called Tracing Paradise: Two Years in Harmony with John Milton.1> Even though it has "John MIlton" in the title, it's still thoughtful, funny, and accessible, and I'd love to hear what you think of it.
