Bree and Matt stake out Paul Beckett’s home, see him leave and make a payoff to someone and return home only to be shot and killed in his garage with the killer also shooting and injuring Bree. What did you make of this at the time? Did you have any theories about why he was killed and who may have done it? Did you think it was related to Holly’s murder?

At this point, I was stumped as he had been my prime suspect. I was leaning toward the scorned wife after this and thought she had killed her husband and Holly because she thought they were involved.

I figured it was related to Holly's murder since he was obviously being blackmailed and she was his bookkeeper. He was one of my suspects in Holly's murder. I wasn't sure if the same person killed him, or if another killer took him out. His wife was high on my list for that.

He was a contractor so I figured that payoff was related to an inspector or something. Blackmail didn’t occur to me at that moment but I was absolutely stumped when he got killed. I was out of ideas.

I was stumped. I was sure he was the killer.
