Unbelievable that we are starting a new year again! After last year fell apart for me, I'm on a mission to clear my shelves of some older books! I'll be using this to do that and to clear some of my NetGalley books. So even though they might not be old books, they've been on my shelf for far too long!

Dawn, it is amazing that another year is already here. I hope to clear off some older unread books for my challenge as well. Good luck and good reading!

Dawn it's great you are giving it another try. So far I haven't been able to add any books to list but hopefully soon. I think my current library book club book I've still reading will fit for one of the prompts on bottom (location is New Caledonia) And the short story I read if I haven't added it yet to before I was born I might still add it there it might be short but I'm still counting it unless I decide to read something else to fit spot kind of still deciding on that one.

Spending January on clearing some books off my shelves. Trying to only read things that have been on there before the new year.

That sounds good. I have way way way too many to try and get everything that I own printed that is unread read. I probably have more than a life time. If I can get my picks for the 20 hardcover challenge it will bring down my hardcovers some also if I do the 100 book challenge too. Right now my current library books are top priority (hopefully by end of week) then greg rucka (printed owned hardcover) then I can see where I stand also need to read two arcs. then hopefully I can start on reading more printed owned books.

Good start Dawn! I need to inspect my books so far in 2023 to see if any fit for mine.

What took me so long to read Beartown! I loved it!

Focusing on books I already have instead of new releases has me doing okay on this!

You are doing great. I see a few books that I’ve read or have to read yet. I still need to add a book to my challenge I can’t do it from iPad and always forget to do it when I go on laptop.

Yes…I wish we could edit from our iPads!

I’ve read Layla that one took awhile to get though not my favorite all her others I’ve read I’ve always loved
Beartown was ok not a favorite maybe my mood at time.

Daisy Jones was ok not my favorite of her’s. Read seven husbands by her loved it that book got past around almost whole block at shore everyone liked it. Malibu rising was ok not favorite, one true loves got me hooked on reading her books loved it, Carrie Soto has gone back to library twice didn’t get far neither time might try again but Carrie is someone that’s in Malibu rising.
Want to read other one you read by her.
Read the arc of mad honey didn’t like it but her books I’ve read or usually hit or misses mostly misses with me.
I didn’t read the villa but read her reckless girls it was ok think I gave it a 3 rating.

I have Husbands on my shelf, I'll need to get to it! I liked Malibu Rising, but yes, Carrie Soto was just ok. I like tennis, I can't imagine howd it read it you weren't a fan.

Missississippi Blood was almost 800 pages, so that was sitting on my TBR for a lonnnnng time. But Southern Man is coming out next month so I was determined to get it read!

If you look books that won award on search usually it comes up with list or look back on past books that won on goodreads in past years. Doesn’t have to be a big award that won. Good luck.
